Friendly staff, willing to please and ensure a good stay. Rooms clean, close to Ferry Terminal and nearby to restaurants with a Convenience store across the street and a free pool table. Huge hammocks at each room to relax, can safely park car at hotel for 150C a day while on Ometepe.

We really enjoyed our stay at hamacas. They welcome us very professionally and the room was clean. It is not a fancy hotel. The area is very inserting because there is no tourist at all. On the nearby beach, there is a dramatic vieuw on Ometepe.

This quite and easygoing hotel is perfect for one night stay if you are heading to Ometepe Island. Room 18 was perfectly clean, price for night included breakfast (Nica style) and young lady at the reception desk speaks very well English. There are many lovely birds in the morning and hotel has very nice garden (at the back yard). We... More

Clean rooms. They are pretty basic but nice. The best part is the patio area. There is a little garden surrounded by hammocks. It's super cute and quiet with lots of little antique trinkets all over the place. Very nice place to sit and read and have a beer.

We stayed at Hotel Hamacas before and after visiting Ometepe. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were basic but fine. They were not squeaky clean but were certainly tended to. We chose to have a fan but AC was available as well for extra charge. Our room had a TV and cold shower. The breakfast in the... More

Stayed here after visiting Ometepe Island. A very short walk from the wharf-- straight down the main road, well marked by a couple of signs, and taxi drivers along the way can also point you in the right direction. I'd made a reservation online pretty far in advance, but it didn't seem too crowded, even for the busy season. Staff... More

Basic, but clean, rooms. Colorful , garden-like setting. Large open air area for breakfast or hanging out in the evening. Small tienda just across the street. A bit removed from the hustle and noise closer to the port area.

We stayed here before making the crossing to Isla de Ometepe. Rooms are very basic and clean. If I was to plan my trip again I would try to make the crossing the same day and not stay until the next morning.

I stayed here for one night because I was new to the area and it was recommended by a Nica friend from Rivas. The room I stayed in was small and cell like. The bathroom was funky and the dribble of water might be used to get wet under. This was not a modern or attractive room. I saw many... More

The area near the ferry was kind of trashy. But this little hotel tucked behind the trees nearby is well kept. The owners have paid attention to detail. Art and antiques make this a quaint hideaway. The grounds are neat and clean. I stayed San Jorge for a night only to view Ometepe because I've run out of time. The... More
