A reasonable hotel in a great location. Right on the square so you can walk out and be right in the middle of Cremona. Ask for a room not facing the square if you are an early sleeper. Also check which days the markets are as they are worth a walk around, the church on the doorstep is also very... More

We booked into the Impero Hotel on the day, and were pleasantly surprised by how helpful Sara on reception was! Nothing was too much trouble for her, as she helped us, answered the phones and switched to and from different languages. We opted for quieter rooms facing the inner courtyard - no view but really peaceful - no matter how... More

My first trip to Cremona and stayed at this hotel. My Hotel room was facing the square and could get loud at night, but was acceptable. If noise is factor, ask for a room towards the back. The staff was helpful to me and gave some excellent suggestions for places to eat. It is close to the Duomo and the... More

The hotel itself was fine but the facilities in the roon did not seem to work. There was a Nespresso machine in the room but the sachets were guarded secrely at reception and did not seem worth the trk downstairs to get one. Tried to get the machine to supply hot water for the tea bags provided and this yielded... More

This hotel suffers from unwelcoming staff and a generally poor atmosphere which is the result of poor management. The room we had smelled horrendous as it was used by a smoker previously. The room we were pleased to see had a nespresso machine ! BUT we had to ask specially at the front desk for a coffee pod, which we... More

Our customer (or customer of another hotel witn the name in its feedback) is so angry for the only reason to be asked to pay for our Nespresso. We are sorry but I think no chance for us to answer to a person like this. We will talk to Tripadvsor, and we are going to legally complain with Tripadvisor, about... More

This lovely hotel in the heart of Cremona was a good choice. Close to the Duomo and the Violin Museum, it provides a good base for exploring the sights and tastes of Cremona. Cremona is a worthwhile stop for travelers in Northern Italy with its museums and fantastic food.

The first and most important part for why you should stay at this hotel, is it's location. Couldn't be any closer to all the main attractions of Cremona. In a walking distance to everything. Perfect! The hotel itself looks very luxurious at the reception hall. But the rooms don't live up to this potential. They are nice, but nothing special.... More

Great location, we had fun walking around the old part of town. The taxi cost 13 euro from the train station Room fine - overlook the courtyard which may be noisy in the summer, as it was raining it was no problem for us. This was the only room in our 3 week trip that was cool enough without opening... More

Hotel is wonderfully located for attractions and restaurants. Clean and well priced including breakfast. Staff is great and knows enough English to converse and be of assistance. Was going to stay one night at first but liked so well extended to two.

The Hotel Impero is awesome! Some of the staff know some English, sufficient enough to help get you around. They are Very friendly. Breakfast is good but if you don't like it there are a ton of bakeries and coffee houses within 2 blocks. Be careful if you come in the spring, temperatures vary and if it's been cold, the... More
