Bergamo is beautiful and our stay at the Hotel Commercio was one we will definitely repeat. The hotel entrance is a plain unassuming set of modern doors off a shopping street. They hide a secret! On the plus side the hotel is quiet and there is no traffic noise.

There is a car park at the Commercio but the hotel itself can be difficult to find by road, tucked away on the edge of the commercial centre of the Citta Bassá.

Oh.. and don't think about using the lift if you are claustraphobic... I've...
