Maybe it's because we went during low season, but the hostel was just bellow average. It was far from the city center (that's ok, it don't bother me), the structure was good but the hostel was really weird. The staff was not very helpful and we didn't feel welcome. It felt more like an hospital than a hostel. Well, it's... More

I think it must be noted that the location of this hostel is incredibly isolated and devoid of any nearby amenities. There is hardly anything in the way of shops or places to eat nearby. Bergamo has a lovely old town, and a newer area, but this hostel is unfortunately a long way from both. And very hard to get... More

Very nice, well English speaking service and owner! Really clean, cozy place where You can take a rest after demanding day in city. Beautiful view, nice breakfast and good bus communication. Good prices are also big advantage of this hostel. Owner very helpful and really really nice :-) Stay there, spend much less money and feel better than in Milano... More

This is a great hostel with very helpful staff! Rooms are clean with comfortable beds! Overlooks Bergamo with beautiful views! Only thing was that we thought we were staying in Milan so that was our fault! Milan is about an hour train ride away! Very reasonable pricing with breakfast included!

Bergamo Youth Hostel is placed on a hill, a little further from the city center and you must go up for a few minutes but the view from there is worth it. The room service is really nice and friendly. I was suprised that they know some words in Polish! The room was tidy, bed really comfortable and breakfast was... More

The hostel is on the edge of the town, so we needed some help to get to it late at night and the receptionist did everything in his power - I thank him dearly. It is very cozy and clean. The beds were very comfortable and we got mountain view from our room with a balcony - stunning. Breakfast was... More

This hostel, recommended by friends living locally who had stayed here when first in Italy some years before, is located a few kilometres outside of the centre of Bergamo. Serviced by a regular bus to the Citta Alta this suited our group of 22 predominantly veteran rugby players well. The clientele is predictably mixed, with plenty of families and students... More

It took me 3 hours to get to this hostel. The staff wasn't helpful, I asked for an airport pickup a week before and they didn't arrange it. They told me that there was "an email problem" and they haven't received my request. Even though I sent it via "booking.com". The staff was in a routine mood. Nothing fancy. The... More

Maybe it was because we were there out of the main season (beg.of March) but the hostel was half-empty, clean and quiet with very helpful staff - they helped us with all bus connections, recommendations for sightseeings and countryside trips. The room was simply furnished but sufficiently with own bathroom. The breakfast was a european style - ok.

It might be the winter but it reveals parts you normally miss as the tourists build the party in summer. Felt like i was staying in a mental hospital with locals living there. Had to rent a towel wich i wouldn't shine my shoes with. The breakfast is very basic but the bread is at least fresh.
