I stayed alone in the hotel during the first 2 weeks, and my girlfriend joined me the last 2 nights. I told the Manager that my girlfriend would be joining, and that I would be happy to pay the difference in price for a second person. The manager said I could stay in my room or move to a larger... We booked through hotels.com last minute. Booked a king size room with sofa bed which was confirmed. Arrived and discovered a barely furnished dated room with only two double beds. We explained politely about the need for a larger bed due to my husband's tallness. Young man at desk contacted a woman (probably his mother) who yelled at him into... More

We stayed at Santa Caterina for one night on our way to Freiburg in the Black Forest and were pleased we were staying only one night. The hotel had recently been taken over by new owners who were really nice and very helpful and I hope they manage to improve things. Our room was very clean and had obviously been... More

A group of six (3 "mature" couples) stayed for 2 nights en route to Lake Garda. We had arranged at booking to be picked up by the advertised free shuttle, but when we attempted to confirm this by email on the day before we travelled, we were told that it was not available - no explanation given. We took the... More

The hotel is down a cul-de-sac, parking is a total nightmare. The place itself is ok, but a fairly long walk into the centre, and a bit overpriced for what it is. I wont be going back, reckon there are better options in bergamo for this price bracket.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Rooms were big and spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful, even though English skills varied. Location was great as you could walk to lots of shops and restaurants, or up to Citta Alta. A taxi to the train station was around 10 Euro, or there was also a local bus service close... More

Very small hotel (7 rooms named after colours- we stayed in 'yellow') Situated about half-way from the train station and the funicular for citta alta- 15-20 minutes walk either way. Hotel is perfect if you are sightseeing in the sun. We were there over Easter weekend...it rained for 2 days and the majority of the shops were closed. Have read... More
