My husband and I stayed here during a recent visit to Bergamo. We chose it for the location which was within walking distance of the railway station and about a 10 minute walk away from the funicular to Bergamo's Cita Alta (upper city). The location was great, just off the main road through the Cita Bassa (lower city), close to... More

The hotel is located close to the center and big underground parking is just in front of the hotel. Close to shopping area and walking distance to the old town as well. Rooms are nicely furbished, sizewise quite ok (compared to Paris). The breakfast bar is one of the highlights and is by far the best part of the hotel.... More

Excellent location! got to Bergamo by a tour bus. Very close to restaurants, shops and bus stops. Good service and free WIFI. Hotel experience was very good overall. Its an ideal hotel for those who wants to be near the city center.

We stayed here first night having arrived late evening,..walked from airport...easy and quick access. Our room was ready,..advised 'nice quiet one' fine, got to it, it was perfectly fine EXCEPT that having run taps for 22mins continually, both shower and other taps had no hot water. I was furious but so exhausted managed to clean up and fell into bed.... More

Excellent as a transportation hub and a visiting post of magnificent city. Bergamo is one interesting North-Italian city equipped with almost everything one may look for as a traveller. Citta Alta is perhaps one of the best example of medivieal cities, with good infrastructure. Moreover, the lower city, citta basso has everything one can have a modern, well functional city.... More

Staying at NH Bergamo, location brill if you are arriving by train. Staff are really helpful. Have to agree with some of the other reviews about the bathrooms not up to scratch and room size a bit compact. Have stayed in a lot better for less. Should have gone to trip advisor before booking, but it was recommended by a... More

I chose this hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary and was very pleasantly surprised. We were upgraded and there was another surprise in the room...champagne on ice, it was a fabulous start to our break. The staff were superb and helpful (Alice & Marco thanks for your help). Lovely breakfast and lots of choice. The hotel is very well situated,... More

Good location, 15 min drive from BGY airport and about 5 minutes walk from the railway and bus station. Funicolare station and the historical center is about 2 km. Very professional and friendly service.

From arrival to departure staff at the hotel displayed an exceptional level of helpfulness to ensure our stay went well & that we caught our early morning flight from the nearby airport. The room itself was clean spacious and well appointed. Close by the hotel is a fine choice of restaurants & delis/cafes plus local transport links; this was helpful... More
