As another reviewer has said, the kitchen is the main thing here. Our room was large enough, and comfortable - and only 64 euros. Aperitifs and menues are more expensive, but of very good quality and nice touches, like 2 little starters while you wait for your main starter. Everything beautifully presented - it is a popular restaurant, so book... More

We arrived early in order to visit Chateau Cheverney, the most beautiful of all the grand Chateaux of the area in our opinion. The hotel is situated at the end of Cour Cheverney and hence the closest to the Chateau among the the choices in the village. The Chateau itself is an easy flat walk straight down the road, about... We stayed here in September 2013 for one night as part of a bike tour. They had bike storage facilities, which was handy, though only a portion if this was undercover. The restaurant served typical French dishes, and seemed popular with locals and tourists alike. It served a generous breakfast as well. The room was spacious and had good wifi... More

We have just had 3 nights at the Saint Hubert - our 7th visit I think! We love this place we feel so relaxed and comfortable here - very friendly staff and manager who all remember us from previous visits and give us a wonderful welcome. This hotel is so central for visiting many Chateaus in the area. Its also... More

Situated in the centre of Cour Cheverny and easy to locate. Large car park which is locked at night, but with entry number for residents. A short distance from Cheverney Chateau and convenient for visiting other chateaus including Chambord and Blois. Hotel has a nice appearance with tables and chairs outside and welcoming helpful staff. The rooms appear a little... More

Food is the priority here and it does not disappoint- the manager is very efficient and th rooms are clean and tidy. We loved it here and wished we had stayed for another night! It is in walking distance of the chateau and the rooms are very reasonably priced for the height of the season.the town is lovely and has... More

I took advice from trip advisor reviews on this place and yet again it paid off-the manager is excellent and attentive and the hotel is kept really well. The restaurant produces beautiful food and this is a quaint little breakfast room that serves a good hearty breakfast. Don't expect to get your corporate chain rooms here, it is good basic... More

I liked this hotel . The rooms were nice . They're a little faded but with a rather nice character to them which makes them feel comfortable . There's a pleasant area outside to enjoy a beer in the evening . Staff are friendly and helpful . The restaurant is very popular and was very busy on the Sunday evening... More

Cheverny is an agreeable little town close to Blois and Chambord and the St Hubert is a pleasant little hotel in the French country tradition with good food and all at a decent price. It rates as a couple of chimneys and coccottes on the Logis grading scales which was about right. Off road parking and a restaurant open Sundays... More

Our meal at Hotel St Hubert was not a good one. The restaurant apparently specialises in wildlife so we chose from the lower priced menu a number of specialities. They were items from a wild boar and were rank in the extreme. Perhaps this is normal, but I doubt it. Two bottles of corked wine were served so we switched... More
