We expected something a bit more charming and were therefore a little disappointed. Our room, whilst, comfortable, was reminiscent of those in a Premier Inn, not geared up for a stay of more than a night or two, with little storage space and tiny bathroom. It was perfectly functional but lacked any charm. The uniformed wait staff in the restaurant... More

Our tour group came to this hotel for dinner. Our tour guide brings his groups here whenever he tours the area. Our dinners were very good, with the service supervised by the owners who our guide knows very well. The Gamay wine from the area was very good. Our Cod entrees were very good and the cheese cart service was... More

The hotel had just been refurbished and was clean and modern looking inside, though not as much character as some other provincial French hotels. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of shelves to put belongings on. The staff were very friendly and welcoming in the hotel and the restaurant. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant,... More

This hotel is a slightly characterless but comfortable place in cour Cheverny, near Chateau de Cheverny. It is a standard mid range French hotel, nothing much to say about it, really. Dinneand breakfast were pretty decent. The most intersting thing about the hotel is its lift, which is a bit weird.

The hotel was fine but my wife wasn't as impressed as I was. Her main complaints were an ultra small bathroom and no shower curtain on the bath which meant the room got wet. Very noisy plumbing. The beds were very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The room size was very good with plenty of room to... More

As another reviewer has said, the kitchen is the main thing here. Our room was large enough, and comfortable - and only 64 euros. Aperitifs and menues are more expensive, but of very good quality and nice touches, like 2 little starters while you wait for your main starter. Everything beautifully presented - it is a popular restaurant, so book... More

We arrived early in order to visit Chateau Cheverney, the most beautiful of all the grand Chateaux of the area in our opinion. The hotel is situated at the end of Cour Cheverney and hence the closest to the Chateau among the the choices in the village. The Chateau itself is an easy flat walk straight down the road, about... We stayed here in September 2013 for one night as part of a bike tour. They had bike storage facilities, which was handy, though only a portion if this was undercover. The restaurant served typical French dishes, and seemed popular with locals and tourists alike. It served a generous breakfast as well. The room was spacious and had good wifi... More

We have just had 3 nights at the Saint Hubert - our 7th visit I think! We love this place we feel so relaxed and comfortable here - very friendly staff and manager who all remember us from previous visits and give us a wonderful welcome. This hotel is so central for visiting many Chateaus in the area. Its also... More

Situated in the centre of Cour Cheverny and easy to locate. Large car park which is locked at night, but with entry number for residents. A short distance from Cheverney Chateau and convenient for visiting other chateaus including Chambord and Blois. Hotel has a nice appearance with tables and chairs outside and welcoming helpful staff. The rooms appear a little... More
