We stayed three nights at this family run hotel. The service was excellent, and they really try and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The accomodations are no frills, however we found our room to be large and very comfortable. Breakfast was also great, the foccacia was delicious! A five minute walk to the sea front and a 10... I agree 100 percent with all recent reviews. Loved the family - very friendly with great advice. Don't expect a five-star place, but it does provide a five-star experience. Great cappuccinos in the morning was a great way to start the day. And the day trips they suggested to Portofino as well as Cinque Terre were perfect. Lastly, our room,... More

We were welcomed warmly and Grandpa took our luggage up the many stairs as we had asked for a Floor 2 room. The room was smallish but very comfortable, an obviously recently renovated bathroom, nice windows, ceiling fan, good storage and shelf space, comfy bed, and a needed bottle of water on arrival (and one provided to us each day... This is probably the most interesting hotel we have stayed in for quite some time. A family run hotel close to the centre but far enough away to ensure we could enjoy the peace and quiet we needed at the end of our busy days. The hotel is an interesting liberty-style building and is furnished accordingly. A large airy bedroom... More

This was probably the most unusual hotel we have stayed in. Run by a lovely Italian family, who couldn't have done enough for us. Rooms are basic but clean. Papa drives his ancient motor scouter to the market each morning to get fresh produce for breakfast, and then waits on guests to make sure they have every thing they need... More

The delightful family who run this small hotel understand and appreciate their guests needs and do everything possible to ensure a comfortable stay. The rates are most reasonable and are very good value for money. The breakfast is first class

This is a lovely family run hotel where there were great breakfasts and really helpful staff. The location is good - really close to main part of town and coast but far enough away to be quiet. It was also very clean and the bed comfortable. Don't be put off by the one star rating - it was a good... More
