We found this on Sawdays - and while Roberto and his property delivered a solid experience it wasn't a 'special place to stay'. Roberto is knowledgeable and very helpful. Rooms are good and air conditioned. If headed there we would go back and stay there but not make a special trip to this place.

Our 4th time here. This is an excellent refuge from the crowds of sta mgta ligure below and close to camogli just to the west which we always enjoy visiting. The problem in camogli is parking. The villa's setting is marvelous and Roberto a helpful host. You can't beat this place.

First visit with Roberto as out host. The grounds are spectacular - your room, the breakfast patio and the pool all have stunning views of Santa Margherita! Visited with my husband and three older kids in side by side rooms, which were perfect, each had private balcony to enjoy the views - with cappuccino in the morning, relax in the... More

We have been to Villa Gnocchi a number of times (five I think) and have just booked another visit for this year. It's one of the few places I find truly relaxing. The atmosphere at the villa itself is very peaceful and the surrounding area is stunning. Roberto serves a generous and varied breakfast on the terrace, and we often... More

Make your way down the winding driveway to this authentic and welcoming compound nestled in an olive grove. Compact rooms are well appointed and very comfortable featuring balconies with remarkable views 24 hours a day. Our photo of the sun rising over Cinque Terre now graces our home foyer. Walkways, breakfast patio, lounge area and pool are beautifully located on... More

Roberto Gnocchi has run his bed and breakfast for several decades and this shows. (In all good ways except for perhaps the room decor and breakfast). Villa Gnocchi is actually in San Lorenzo, not Santa Margherita, but it's a 15 minute walk to the water and Santa Margherita and because you're perched up above the town and coast, you get... More

Villa Gnocchi is the perfect stay for this coast, the views from our room were incredible, the balcony great, breakfast great, pool very good and Roberto offered great advice and help. A real gem of a location. Drive down to hotel is tight so getting our E Class down was a challenge but with care possible!

We visited Villa Gnocchi in June, we stayed there almost one week. It is a calm, friendly place, situated in a beautiful fruit garden. The rooms were clean and we felt there like at home. The pool was great, not very big but fairly enough for our children. Breakfasts were OK. One advice, don`t rent a big car if you... More

I will be honest with my feelings concerning this place . Let me say about really good things to start with the host Roberto - very helpful and informative. It would take us much much longer to discover all the things he mentioned about the area. The second thing was the breakfast - we really liked it as it was... More

Set high above Santa Margherita Ligure sits this beautifully located B&B. The views alone are worth the price. The owner Roberto took over this property from his Grandfather and takes great pride in what he offers his guests. The rooms themselves are simple but functional, with their own private courtyard overlooking the valley through to the ocean. Have I said... More
