A very nice hotel! Nice lobby, helpful and kind employees. The executive room was large with a very large and nice balcony. The city is wonderful and so are the surroundings. A great city to start your trip to cinque terre. Must have a look at the boat trips timetables as they do not run daily. The timetable depends on... More

This wonderful little boutique hotel is on a quiet, tree-lined street that is one block from great shopping and restaurants and two blocks from the center of town with high end shopping, more restaurants and a wonderful seaside park. You're a couple of walks from the beach and a promenade trail that will take you to Portofino. If you take... More

Very nice interior, cosy rooms and welcoming staff. We loved our stay here and would definitely pick the same hotel next time. Breakfast was good, especially their focaccia and home made fresh apple cake. Overall it's great value for money.

Whilst the interior is a little dated it is well maintained and very clean. Located within easy walking distance of the town centre and the train station (approx 500m) the room we had was located at the rear of the building overlooking the gardens of the neighbouring apartment blocks. It was very quiet with a firm but comfortable bed and... More

We stayed at this hotel after our first accommodation double-booked and were quite happy with the switch. Some highlights: - The staff were pleasant and helpful - The morning spread extended beyond the typical continental that you come across - The location was central - The rooms were clean - It was reasonably priced My only real 'lowlight' was that... Located with in a 5 minute walk from the railway station, close to restaurants and the ferry, Hotel Tigullio is ideally located for a visit to Santa Margherita. Our room was clean, comfortable, had good free wifi in the room. The room was very spacious, with air conditioning and included a wrap around balcony with table and chairs. The bed... More

We recently spent 3 wonderful days here and fell in love with Santa Margherita Ligure. It was a wonderful base from which to explore the Cinque Terra and Portovenere, which we adored. The boutique hotel is in a fabulously quiet location, yet close enough to all the restaurants, ferry port etc. Our bedroom and bathroom. was immaculately clean, staff were... More

Small, intimate property. Very clean property and helpful staff. Breakfast included cheeses, hard/soft boiled eggs, pastries yogurt, fruit etc. Charming balcony. Walking distance to marina. They own a more upscale property a block away. Nearby parking garage is 20 euros/day for hotel guests. I would absolutely stay there again as a single person but would consider upgrading to the other... More

We were very positively surprised by this hotel! The hotel appears to have been renovated not too long ago. The room was nice and comfortable, and we even got a nice balcony, with beautiful flowers, facing the garden. The bathroom was modern and convenient, but not very big. We were also very happy to discover that the hotel had a... More

This is a little jewel. It is very close to where the buses/ferry leave for Portofino. The staff are very helpful and there is free internet. The hotel has very cute rooms - boxy but very clean and tidy. There is also TV. The price is good and the breakfast was included - including eggs! I would recommend this hotel.
