Worth the expense to treat yourself. Make sure you get a high room with ocean view and small balcony, perfect for evening drinks. Beach area great, always plenty of sun beds and steps into water if needed. Breakfast just bliss. Great variety and location.

We stayed one night at the Imperiale on our travels along the Italian Riviera, and found it to be an ideal choice. The hotel is in a wonderful Rococo style with beautiful well kept gardens that lead down to its pool and sea bathing area. It's only a short walk into town, which enabled us to leave our car in... Everything about this hotel is first class. You will be amazed as you walk through the various rooms to the restaurant; grounds are beautifully manicured and staff/service attentive and thorough. We did not want to leave the pool and beach area; it was heavenly. Rooms on the front have an incredible view of the bay, especially at night from the... More

Used this as a base to explore Portofino and Cinque Terre. Outstanding service, beautiful old world charm. Nothing was too difficult for the extremely attentive and friendly staff. Felt very private yet close to centre of everything in tow. Definitely will stay here again. Food was exquisite, breakfast buffet of great variety. Sea views and pool area gorgeous!

Luxurious hotel, breath taking views and the most attentive and accommodating staff I have ever experienced. A bonus was the most extensive breakfast buffet I have seen. Only minor inconvenience was that the wifi wasn't working on our floor. Had to go to lobby area.

Pricey, but great location. The Hotel itself is beautiful, but needs a bit of a facelift. The double room was large and airy with a tiny balcony, large marble bathroom and beautiful sea views. The grounds are gorgeous, with many patios and grand flora. The breakfast had many varieties of foods- fresh fruits, meats, pastries, omelette prepared from scratch, there... More

An older but wonderfully maintained property a 10 minute walk to downtown Santa Margherita. We enjoyed a gorgeous suite with a terrace that provided a magnificent view of the harbor. Staff is friendly and professional. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was superb. Great beach club! Simply a marvelous hotel.

Faultless location......it was an absolutely gem of a place. We had a swim in the meditarrean ocean ...... It was also perfect for our two and half year old daughter because of the beach was private and she could play in a little man made creek with pebbles near the sea. Breakfast and Dinner at the imperiale palace was divine.... More
