We decided to attend a Serie A football match in Genoa in March. We chose to stay in Rapallo. It is a lovely town, with really friendly people, great restaurants and it is ideally placed for catching trains, buses and boats to other numerous attractions in the area (we visited Portifino & Santa Margherita as well as our trip to... The hotel has excellent location just by the sea and very easy to reach on foot if you arrive in Rapallo by train. I recommend to have a room with balcony facing the sea/harbor area - great views. In front of the hotel you can take a boat to Portofino (a must place to visit). Rooms are smallish but fine... More

Who said thay habs of Tigullio have harsh character and not so user friendly? At Vesuvio's you will see exactly the opposite: Great availability by the owner of this small hotel since the night we arrived, preparing in real time the baby coat that i forgot at home; up to paying the parking in the public road in advance for... This small family owned hotel was well situated in Rapallo and seaview was nice. Room was very small but really good service was compensating that. Reception took care of golf clubs, as there was no extra space in room.

We visited this hotel as an alternative to our original hotel which had plumbing problems. It is well located, on the ocean front boulevard. It has a lot of small restaurants near by, which makes it convenient, but some of these places stay open until late and the music was loud. The rooms are small, but they are very clean.... More

If you are going to the Italian Riviera this is the place to go. The hotel is located in the centre of Rapallo directly opposite the waterfront. We has a large corner room on the 4th floor with the most amazing views. Breakfasts were reasonable and we did not have any noise issues. The owner and staff were extremely helpful.... More

We stayed at the Vesuvio Hotel in September for 3 days in between Venice & Rome. We had requested a corner room, and were given an excellent corner room on the 2nd Floor. The Views facing the harbor were wonderful. So relaxing to sit on balcony in the mornings and evenings. The noise from the cafe's,Streets, etc was not really... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and found everything perfect. We had a top floor room facing the harbour with a balcony which was a lovely place to sit and watch the sights. Air conditioning worked perfectly and the hotel itself is spotlessly clean. Staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly without being too much and special mention to the... More

Stayed two nights. Great location; warm and friendly staff; minutes from the train station and from the Luvi Gelateria (outstanding -- make sure to go there!). We had a corner room on the third (Italian "second") floor, with a wrap-around balcony looking straight out at the water. Lovely breeze and cross ventilation led us to leave the doors open the... Nice hotel.. Good location.. Rooms adequate, need updating, but clean. We were on the first floor, the hotel was busy.. Bit noises at weekends at night, which didn't bother us as we're late birds.. But music in both bars below.. So if yr noise conscious.. Get a higher floor.. Walks thin.. Heard next door sky ping their kids in USA!!... More
