It was 2AM and we were on the way from Milan and just had to make a stop for the night. In some stop station on the highway we did some quick search and found only this place available for the night. Dark small place waited for us. Rooms are small, old and bed is not good. Breakfast is by... More

Small hotel with clean simple rooms and bathroom. Our room had a slight view over the sea. Very central to the town and the ferries. Family orientated restaurant's along the seafront but one can find little treasurers down some of the side roads. Day time staff were terrific and nothing was to much trouble, night staff were pretty uninterested in... More

This hotel is on the Mediterranean waterfront. Great location for the beaches, city square, shops, restaurants, and the ferry. We love this town, and although it was not on our original agenda, we stayed 4 days. We were able to visit Portofino and Cinque Terra by ferry. Besides location, the two ladies and one gentleman who worked between September 3... More

We were almost put off by previous reviews but booked through Booking.com at a reasonable rate with breakfast, wifi and airco included. The reception staff were exceptional especially the blonde lady -exceedingly friendly and helpful. We arrived early and were able to check in to our room immediately. The room may be a little dated but very comfortable and clean.... More

The good reviews seem to come from those who stayed in the room with the view that features on the website. Our room (103?) had no view, smelt odd, had no 4 poster bed or Wifi ( contrary to the description on the website) and the bathroom fan didn't work ( but was fixed by the helpful staff who also... We stayed here for one night at the end of May on our way back to Milan for our flight home, as the hotel was given a good write up in Lonely Planet. The hotel is only a short walk from the train station and is quite small but our room was perfect for us. The bedroom had a sea... More

The hotel was described as 'boutique' which is a bit misleading - I always associate boutique with being modern and this hotel isn't - it's more shabby chic! However, room was a pleasant surprise as there was a small living room with a sofa bed as well as twin room and bathroom. Location is great - on the seafront and... More

Great location on the waterfront, with some lovely views to be had, as well as being within easy walking distance of the bus and railways stations. Wi-fi is available in the hotel, but is EUR5 for each hour - however, the connection is good and fast. The rooms were pleasant, if a little small, with air-con that works very well.... More

Our room was dreary, to say the least. It smelled terrible, but the AC worked well. We got them to agree to give us free WiFi when booking our room, which would have doubled the cost of the rom, had we not. If you can find another place, do.

Good- • Great location near the water and promenade. • Easy to get to (via walking) from the train station. • WI-FI worked good, but was expensive. • Had to do laundry and they called in special the laundry lady to do it right away (it had to be hung out to dry, hence the time crunch). • Front desk...
