Nice hotel close to the center and lungomare of Rapallo. We had a room with balcony on the third floor. The hotel is on a busy street, but there was little noise during the night. Breakfast was fine, not too much choice of bread, but ok. Front desk staff friendly and helpful, they suggested a place for aperitivo, a good... More

We spent a few nights here in early September. Weather good. Rapallo seems to have a lower percentage of tourists, but not at all off the beaten track. Much better prices than other nearby resorts, and a frequent ferry operates between them! Staff very helpful, can't fault them. The roof terrace gives good views and was quiet each time we... More

We have just returned from the Hotel Stella in Rapallo. Five minutes from the sea, but not on the seafront, we had a little balcony and excellent double glazing, so that although the hotel is on a busy road, when you shut the doors and shutters at night and draw the curtains, it is very quiet and cool. There is... More

we really wanted to like this hotel as they owners were very friendly but the whole place needs a deep clean. The breakfast wasn't up to much and wasn't replenished as guests had eaten. The room facilities were adequate but the beds (camp beds) were very uncomfortable. It was also very noisy. The best part of this hotel is the... More

We've had the best customer service here so far and we've been on the road for a month! Stayed for three nights, the included breakfast is decent enough, about a 45 minutes walk into Santa Margherita. and two or so blocks from the Rapallo train station.

This is a great example of a very nice mid size, family run European hotel. Love it. The location is wonderful for the Cinque Terre, as well as Portofino and Santa Margherita. There is good hiking nearby (especially the Cinque Terre), lots of good restaurants, and that amazing coastline. Beautiful 15-20 minute drive out to Portofino. Great place to spend... More

We stayed here for two nights. It was okay. The staff were very friendly. The room we had was on the first floor with a balcony, which is not really usable. The hotel is located on a ninety degree bend on the main road into town. Vespas and other traffic constantly slow at the corner and rev up to pull... More

Good little hotel with a short walk from the harbour. Slightly expensive for what we got, but we only stayed one night and it was the family room. Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly. It would be pleasant for a longer stay as well. Nice little terrace on the roof. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We stayed three nights at the Hotel Stella at July 2013. Friendly service. The room itself was a bit old-fashioned. The room size was ok, but there was a permanent smell of urina in the bath during all our stay. Breakfast wasn't great to be honest, poor buffet selection and coffee was so-so. Hotel got very nice terrace with sunbeds.... More

Hotel is easy to reach from train station. It is situated two blocks away from small town center and +5 blocks from port area. We stayed only one night on our way to Portofino and 5Terre. Our room on 3rd. floor was very clean and everything as expected. Owner is very helpful and friendly (we met our daughter on the... More
