This lovely hotel is an easy, flat walk from the Station. Just back from the Waterfront, we had a 3rd Floor, corner room with balcony on front and side. The room number 41 was large with a separate bathroom, shower over bath. This was the first hotel on our trip that we actually got a top sheet instead of just... More

We've never stayed in Rapallo before, normally we stay in Santa Marghretta but friends recommended Rapallo and I have to say, a great recommendation. The town itself is very busy and built up as you'd expect for an Italian seaside town but the sea front was stunning with plenty of bars and restaurants, also a lovely port and beach with... More

We spent 6 nights at this hotel on a group holiday (GN Holidays), all of the staff were very friendly and willing to make your stay as good as possible. We had a room on the second floor and it was much larger than expected, very clean, air-con, safe, a fridge would have been nice, very hot. An excellent location,... More

I came to this hotel via GN Voyages as part of their tour. The hotel was perfectly located in Rapallo, within easy walking distance to the local amenities. We had a room on the first floor (I had requested the 4th floor as seen in previous reviews), but I can honestly say that I was pleased with our room. It... More

My husband and I and two friends stayed here and had a lovely restful stay, only for two days. We were on the way to Sienna and needed a convenient stop over. We did not have a prior booking but were fortunate they had two rooms vacant. Loved the decor and our outlook from our room was lovely. The meals... More

We stayed for 3 nights, en route by train from Avignon to Florence. 20 minute walk to hotel from train station. Hotelier responded promptly to our emails. Enjoyable stopover in comfortable room on top floor with direct access to roof top terrace. Lovely views over the bay, pleasant walk to boardwalk and ferry to Santa Margherita and Portofino.

Early warnings attaching to a wedding invitation for an August Wedding in Santa Margherita Ligure, was that hotel prices would be expensive, hence a hectic scramble for best price and good location, a consideration to include the location of the Wedding itself in Zoagli. When I discovered that the earlier reserved hotel required a cable car to approach it, left... More

We spent two days in Rapallo at the Giulio Cesare & could not have been happier wIth our choice. We arrived without a reservation and Massimiliano greeted us with a smile, raced out to secure a parking spot for us, and have it's a 4th floor room with 2 balconies and incredible views. The room was huge by European standards,... More

This hotel is in a great spot with a terrace that looks out over the marina where you can enjoy a bottle of local wine and watch the Italian countryside change from day to night. Lights, boats, hills and a cool breeze. Perfect! The forth floor South facing room is the best. It is reasonably priced with a lovely breakfast.

My husband and I have been going to and loving the Hotel Giulio Cesare for many years. The rooms are good, hotel location and view excellent. Very friendly attentive staff too. All in all -- a great, great value for the money. Rapallo is our favorite place on the Italian Riviera by far. The beauty, restaurants, people and access to... More
