We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. We had a sea view room which was nice with great views. However, the staff in this hotel make you feel that they are doing you a favour by letting you stay there. The manager only spoke to who he considered to be VIP guests, ignoring the rest. The restaurant is sited... More

This hotel was a surprise. We booked it really last minute and was really good. The room had an impressive sea and pool view. The downside to this hotel was the gym is really small, the sauna was not working for the entire stay. The breakfast, although not bad, lacked variety. All in all a good experience.

My rating is based on central European standards, elsewhere in the world, I'm sure this hotel would be marketed as five star. It's a beautiful building, could probably do with a little refurbishment here and there and perhaps a bit more care taken over the house-keeping (couple of blown light bulbs etc). That's the negative comments done with! Staff are... More

Worthy of more than 4 starts - at least 4*S. Excellent, elevated position - so able to see the magnificent Portofino / Santa Margherita coast line aross the bay. Very comfortable large room with small balcony facing the pool and the views. Really excellent Restaurant with delicious food - especially the professionality of GianLuca the restaurant manager and his young,... More

Clean rooms, fantastic views. The staff was very nice, offered us a lot of good advice about exploring the surrounding area. The hotel is a little off center, it's about 15 minutes walk to Rapallo. If you want to go to Portofino, you can catch a ferry - definitely don't use a taxi, unless you have too much money. The... More

Staff ignorant, air con not working, stains on bedroom carpets and food & drink overpriced. Was not catered for English. I will be going back to Sorrento in future much friendlier people and more beautiful place. On checkout not one person enquired had we had a lovely time. Really disappointed will never go back.

While visiting the Cinque Terre last week, we thought it would be great to explore further up the coast line and head towards Genoa. We made it as far as Rapallo and decided to go no further (it's such a charming place!) We found availability at this hotel on Orbitz for a very good price ($190 a night for a... More

Whem my wife felt ill & didnt want to eat in... More
