We had a truly wonderful 3 night stay at their suites and would return to the Grand Bristol in a Heartbeat! The first night we took a taxi to the city center for dinner, but after that we found dinner at the hotel restaurant Cupola to be more enjoyable so we had two dinners at the Cupole. The food quality,... More

This hotel is situated just outside of the 1960's beach hot-spot of Rapallo. A truly hidden gem, up on a hill overlooking the sea and the bay of Rapallo, it is blessed with an idyllic setting. The hotel is an ageing beauty, similar to those one would find in St Tropez in her hey-day. An elegant sea facing façade with... More

Arrived and upgraded to a magnificent corner jr suite(509) with windows on 2 walls with non-stop views, even in the bathroom picture window! Breakfast on the huge ocean facing terrace is not to be missed. parking 10E was difficult as the lot was full but is the only ding. 10k to cinque terre. A great value for what we received.... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely hotel. We arrived from the station by taxi, which was 15 Euro's, but you can walk it in about 20 minutes. It is a beautiful grand hotel and there is a large pool in front of the hotel. We were warmly welcomed and found the staff all pleasant and friendly.... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay in this delightful hotel. Had a sea view room on the 3rd floor and what a view - absolutely superb. Breakfast taken on the terrace every morning looking at sea and over to Rapallo, Santa Margarita and just see Portofino. The ferry to Portofino is from the promenade and an easy walk down... More

This is a lovely hotel with great views over the bay. It's definitely worth getting a sea view room. We know it was end of season, but there are some missed opportunities at this hotel. By mid- afternoon, the pool was very busy, but the pool bar was closed as end of season. It would have taken very little for... More

the hotel is structurally a nice building, very well located, recently renovated. Also smiling people welcoming you. Then comes the surprise, the devil is in the details: - WIFI is paid :-(( no comment for a EUR300 room rate hotel - Parking is paid and there is no alternative (so it is an extra tax, thank you :-((( - outstanding... The hotel is in an out of town location with lovely views & a good pool area. The walk into town is by a (mainly) pedestrian path with good lighting & proper surface, with nice sea views. There is also a bus that stops right outside the door if you are too tired to walk back. We were upgraded on arrival to a... More

Wow building on a great location, had a suit on the 3rd floor, with the most fantastic view ever, The suit was large and balcony with great views, how ever there was no coffee/ tea maker in the room, No complementary water, which every hotel this standard should have, the pillows were hard fibre, not feather..... Although most of the... More

We really enjoyed our 5-night stay at this hotel: the terrace overlooking the pristine pool with its wonderful sea view, the spacious and attractive sea-view room and the delicious, generous breakfast taken outside on the terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful, although more tourism leaflets and information would have been appreciated. Bar and dining prices were very high and the... More
