We stayed prior to a week in Tuscany as an opportunity to see the coast. Great location, short walk to town and boats. Grand hotel with great views. Staff was very helpful . We had a lunch on the porch overlook the sea, which was great.

There are very few rough edges at the Excelsior. The place is immaculate and rooms are well appointed, some with a sea view. The lobby area is large, although on a single floor with no central staircase, which robs it of an element of grandeur. There are still plenty of areas to retreat to and read a book or enjoy... More
