hotel was right at the bottom of the high street, a good kilometre from train station. Free wifi in room, very basic room but clean, owner gave us good ideas of where to visit/eat.

Both my wife neither I could sleep any of the 2 nights we stayed there. The street right below the windows of the rooms is very loud. I would avoid it if you want to have any energy to actually enjoy La Spezia.
