This hotel is by far the worst overall hotel experience we have had in Italy. Rooms - Dirty, cramped, hot, noisy. Service - Incompetent staff, room keys that don't work. Elevator - Barely functions, hope you like walking the stairs with bags. Location - Ok but the main rear entrance backs into a dark seedy alley, so night walks back are... More

This hotel is by far the most unsettling experience I have ever had travelling. Our first hotel room was for the disabled which meant we didn't have a proper toilet seat etc we asked to be moved and they said it was full. Which was a lie because there were rooms available online. Then the next day they moved us... More

We used this hotel for a base camp for hiking the cinque terre. It is 10 minutes from the train station which is nice, but it can be very difficult to find the hotel the first time especially if you are driving to it. The room is clean and smells really strongly like cleaning products. It is a very modern... More

Awsum place, rooms was great (703) was perfect for a first timer to Italy because in the early morning hours you I could open my large window and watch La Spezia locals walk around on their morning commute. breakfast was diverse enough for the business traveler but would soon bore the vacatuoner, but local cafes and bistros would alleviate that... Stayed here for 4 nights in May 14. We used this hotel as a base-camp for visiting the Cinque Terre. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the railwaystation, and it also takes about 10 minutes to walk to the ferries that serves the Cinque Terre. There are parking in front of the hotel, but it can be quite... More

Our room was large and clean, but very noisy. Beds were very hard. Luckily we were only there to sleep, and out touring Cinque Terra during the day. Our room looked out on apartment buildings, so no view. Neighborhood felt run down, so I wouldn't have felt comfortable walking around after dark. Although the staff were very nice and helpful,... Hotel is situated in a residential neighborhood a bit from the main shopping district. Hotel neighborhood felt unsafe. Grafffiti on the walls outside, teens and adults constantly around the entrances. Pay for the suite, otherwise, pick another hotel! Hotel staff is stiff, and unhelpful. Found this to be the worst service in any hotel on our Italy trip.

I will post a picture of my room today. Asked for a room change, told no rooms available, not even to upgrade. I can go their website or 7 others and it shows four rooms available. Stairs outside of room window with kids smoking and playing loud music. At arrival room temp is 84 degrees and no air so window... More

A. Very clean and hospitable hotel. Rooms are well appointed and very clean. Very freshmfeel about the hotel. The breakfast was good. The free wifi worked well. You are right in the centre of the city near the railway station to get trains to Cinque Terre and also easy walk to the buses. Staff were very keen to be of... More
