We stayed here as we had a car and had heard it was difficult finding a place to stay in any of the Cinque Terre. We were a bit disappointed when we found that the parking wasn't actually on-site, but you had to find a place in the surrounding streets and they would give you a parking voucher to place... More

I was arriving La Spezia after dark and wanted a good, easy hotel to find. When you walk outside the station you can see the hotel sign. Perfect. The lady at the front desk was friendly and her English was very good. She gave me maps of the city center and Cinque Terre, as well as a train timetable for... More

We booked at b&b la spezia centrale, but, as there was no elevator there, the propreator, Frederika, was very kind and called Mary hotel for us, as a last moment solution. It turned out to be a Very good recomendation. The Mary hotel is family run. They are all very kind and very attentive to all your needs. It is 5-6... More

This hotel is located right across the street from the La Spezia train station, which makes it convenient to travel the Cinque Tere area. That may be the only positive. There are quite a few steps going to, and from, the hotel. The exterior of the hotel will discourage many travelers from staying there do to it's unattractive appearance. The... More

It is not a hotel I would go if I would intend to stay lots of nights or would have nothing to do in the city. However, as this was not the case, I found the hotel pretty adequate for what I need: a place to sleep after busy days, a shower and a nice breakfast. Besides, the lift to... More

We slept two nights in this hotel. Beside the WiFi that was not good in our bedroom, the rest was fine. We were really surprised by the breakfast that was complete with fruits, toasts, viennoiseries and coffee. The bedroom was clean at our arrival. The lady at the front desk gave us useful directions and advices at our arrival and... More

we paid around 100 euro a night and we were expecting something decent but we had a very bad surprise. The bathroom was made by wood panels and it was smelling and not clean at all. There was mud in the shower and after flushing the noise and smell we're not nice bathroom also very small sheets clean and safe... More

We had only booked Hotel Mary for two nights on arrival in La Spezia primarily based on the fact that we were flexible with regard to travel. However we decided to stay on for a further 5 nights based on the fact that Hotel Mary is based directly opposite the train station and once can be in Riomaggiore in 7/8... More

I chose this hotel because it was directly across from the train station and we were headed to the Cinque Terra the next day. While it looks sketchy on the outside the place is really quite acceptable. The front dest guy was fantastic - very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is fantastic. The room was dated but spacious - as... More

We arrived on a late train after travelling from Venice. The hotel is directly across from the train station, but is on a lower grade (you need to use the stairs or elevator outside the station, you'll know what I mean when you get there). We were happy we did not have far to walk as we just wanted to... More
