The hotel is comfortable and clean. Rooms not lavish, but you are not here to stay in your room. Bed was very comfortable, good environmental control. Free wireless as well. This hotel is NOT located close to the downtown area or central train station. However, they do provide free shuttle services to the port, central station and downtown area...be sure... More

This hotel was away from the centre of town which required us to either use a bus or taxi for all trips. However, a shuttle was available from the hotel is booked ahead to take us to the ferry, train, or the downtown core. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. There was a wide... More

The staff were very helpful at Hotel Ghironi and the shuttle service to and from the railway station was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, but the one of the bedside lights did not work and the toilet had a few plumbing issues. The air conditioning was very loud and we could not sleep with it on. The breakfast... More

Our room was for four people. It was largue. Not with a very modern decorativos. The bathroom was clean and with everything we need. The breakfast was good. But the best of this hotel are the employees. They are all very kind and ready to help in everything you need. The hotel has a free car parking and free transporte... More

Honestly, the hotel is a bit old. But the front desk services is just great, since we arrive late and still want to go to cinque terre, even though we missed the original shuttle, one of the officers just add an additional shuttle to send us to the train station. Room is old but very big and cozy, great place... More

although the hotel knew better days.. (you can tell that at the time it was considered as fancy one..) still it is very comfortable and great hotel. the room was huge with a door and shutters (not only curtains, like the old version, but great to dark the room) a very big bathroom, very clean. The breakfast was very rich.... More

Not really what we expected. The hotel is not in a great location and as long as you like looking at a container ship being loaded/unloaded 24 hours a day your ok. The hotel was very dated and simple things like the bath plug didn't work. Not somewhere I would recommend.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way South in Italy and can't recommend it highly enough! From check-in to check-out, the staff couldn't do enough for us! Our room was a great size, with a very very comfortable queen sized bed and lovely bathroom! Although we were facing a college, it was very quiet at night and the onsite... More

When we sat down to write this review, the first thing that popped into our heads was Fawlty Towers. The hotel is almost a parody of a hotel, but not in the bad way. When we checked in, the outspoken and very friendly receptionist filled us in on all the details about the hotel and the free shuttle service to... More
