We stayed here for two nights, and used it as a base for the Cinque Terre. Literally 30 second walk to the train station, and no, we didn't hear the trains. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large, but in need of a renovation. The bathroom was huge and beautifully renovated. The bathroom could have been... More

Staff at front desk very friendly and helpful. Very close to train station to catch train to Cinque Terra .Room was quiet and comfortable. We had a bit of a problem finding the parking (road to front of Hotel was closed due to road works) But once we parked all was great.

Our room was spacious, clean and had air-conditioning. Just steps from the train station (which made it convenient for traveling with luggage) and yet we got a good nights sleep - very well insulated and quiet rooms. The breakfast was a large spread and the view of the mountains every morning from our table was amazing! We had to pay... More

It is literally 1/2 a block from the train station, so it's a great jumping point for seeing the Cinque Terre towns. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet. They had a lovely breakfast that is included in your stay. The only bad part of my experience was the concierge when we checked in was distinctly grouchy.... More

Hotel was very comfortable. Very convenient to the train station and an easy walk into town. Breakfast was very good. We used the hotel as a home base for trips into Cinque Terre. If you stay here, you must try L Sevieri (Via Della Canonica, 13) for dinner. Hands down the best meal that we had in Italy!!!

Hotel Firenze is the perfect Gateway to cinque terre. I was there last summer for business and I found it to be the best option around La Spezia. Just a few steps away from the train station, the amazing breakfast buffet with the mountains view, the comfortable and VERY CLEAN room are just some of the main characteristics that made... More

Hotel Firenze e Continentale is a lovely family-run hotel with friendly staff and informal hospitality. The hotel serves an excellent variety and selection of tasty international breakfasts - just watch out for the lovely strong coffee! The diningroom has a light airy feel to it with large picture windows giving a superb vista across the rooftops to the mountains beyond.... More

The hotel is very easy to find as it is only meters walk from the central station at La Spezia. I stayed there for work for two nights. The room was clean and quiet and breakfast was fantastic! The place has a great lobby with a bar and a really friendly staff! After work I had some time and jumped... More

Great location to base yourself to travel to visit the Cinque Terre and Porto Venere. The hotel is only 1 minute walk from the train station and you can't hear the trains at night due to the rooms being located at the back of the hotel. It is only a 5 minute train ride to Riomaggiore the 1st village &... More

Close to the railway station and very quiet. It was an easy walk to all the resteraunts. The room was a good size and breakfast was very good. The wi-Fi was expensive , 4 euros for 30 mins but overall a good base for Cinque Terra.
