We arrived in La Spezia without any accommodation booked; Foresteria Del Pescatore had only one triple room available and it looked ok on the website we were using to arrange a place to stay. I was travelling with my brother and daughter and a triple room was just what I was looking for! I went to find the hotel first;... More

Located in the centre of La Spezia, it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the train station, besides the local market is just downstairs, therefore it would be much more convenient staying here than staying in the expensive but shabby hotels in Cinque Terre. Though the hotel is adapted from a flat, the room in which we have stayed... More

There is no reception at this hotel, check-in is between 11 am and 7 pm at night. Outside of those hours late arrival has to be arranged and agreed by the owners. We arrived at midnight by train and had previously arranged to be met late at night due to the train schedules coming from France. There is free wifi... More

This place is in good location (hard to find right next to the pub on the corner) .. once we found it, the lady that met us was lovely, although there is no one there other than to let you in to the building initially to show you anything.. we ran out of toilet roll as the cleaner didn't knock... Hard to find, but once we found it Marco was very helpful and recommended safe free parking not too far away. Room was clean and tidy. We stayed two nights to walk the Cinque Terre which was unfortunately the low light of our 4 week holiday. However the accommodation was good although we has some confusion over breakfast being included... More

Really a nice B&B. Big room, big bathroom, with plenty of space. It is almost new. To have breakfast, you have 3 options, we we went to the Bar Roma, really good. This B&B is located just between the port and the train station, so it is a great alternative if you want to go to Cinque Terre (either by... More

If you are looking for a good solution for cinque terre, this is the right place.10 minutes walking from La Spezia Cental station and 20 minutes by train to reach the wonderful Monterosso!!! There is a little be of noise during the night caused from people which stay on the street outside the bar...but is just a detail of our... More

The room was very clean and quite large. It was the right price and only about a 10 min walk to the train station to access the Cinque Terre. We wanted to stay in La Spezia because we had a car and had heard that parking in the Cinque Terre was limited. Parking was about a 10-15 min walk away.... More
