We were fortunate to stay at Cerrolungo a few days during our visit to the Cinqueterra. It can be a bit hectic in this area, which used to be mainly for locals before the travel book writers caught on to its attractions. (PS - we especially liked Portovenere). Cerrolungo is a bit challenging to find, but once here, a delight... More

Unfortunately we were booked in the 3 bedroom apartment, but they had maintenance issues w/ their heat so we ended up in 3 separate bedroom units, not the best for a family, but it worked out ok. The location is great, views are excellent of the vineyards and surrounding valley. Very quiet but still close to some nice restaurants in... More

We wanted to stay for three nights near Le Cinque Terre, somewhere that would let us get away from the crowds, and Cerrolungo certainly delivered that. We expected a vineyard but not the fabulous view from the verandah across the surrounding countryside. After a warm welcome we sheltered from the late afternoon heat on the shady verandah with a cold... More

Great stay in the 3 bedroom apartment which had a huge patio overlooking the countryside that included many different towns and their own vineyards and gardens. Rooms were large, baths were new and had great water pressure. Furnishings classic (read old but in good shape). Lots of cats and a dog made the place very homey. Nadia did a great... More

We stayed in the three bedroom appartment with amazing views of the vineyards and woods from our balcony. The rooms were beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The living room still housed an ancient working gramophone! The cook, Nadia, prepared a delicious vegetarian lunch for us at short notice. The breakfast was also very good with a selection of homemade... More

Staying here was one of the best experiences we had in Italy. The view from our balcony was breathtaking and the house we had was very clean and the decoration was lovely. You can see that the owners really care about every detail. The service was great and they had a very good restaurant. Also, the location is amazing, near... More

Room was plain, no fan no aircon. Building site as you drive in, no dedicated parking. The shower did not work properly, the cold and hot buttons are the wrong way around on both shower and basin taps. The place does not really represent a family farm stay. Food was not of a high standard. The gardens was neglectec and what... More

fantastic view and fantastic food. And to get wine from their own production was just great. The service was great and personal and we felt like being home. We booked the big suite with a huge personal balcony, which we strongly recommend, especially if you travel in a larger group. And the price is very reasonable.

Great hacienda type of farmhouse in a wonderful hilly environment facing a valley. If you are looking for a domestic and peaceful trip close to Cinque Terre and the Ligurian beaches this a great hideaway. Hosts are helpful breakfast is decent food is great.

We stayed in Cerrolungo for 3 nights and had the best time! The room is simple, but in style furnished. The only thing we missed was a refrigerator and a system to hang the shower on the wall. Elisa, the hostess, is superfriendly and always willing to help with tips for things to see in the environment. The hotel has... More
