Wow! The outside is an old apartment block. This very large renovated apartment is divided into 6 very private large rooms. The rooms are very tastefully decorated with modern bathrooms. There is a small breakfast room. The owners were very helpful in suggesting attractions. We had a small balcony overlooking the central market. It was a great location, close to... More

Was a pleasant surprise visiting the town of La Spezia, and this was the perfect place to stay! Very modern and clean with good air con as was warm outside! A little fiddley to find and the stair case to the foyer was practically pitch black at night! All in all a great place to stay if visiting cinque terre!

With a fantastic location and a decent sized room, urban chic house was lovely. The downfall depends on if you need to travel in the afternoon to leave la spezia, there is no possibility of leaving your bags anywhere, so be prepared to sit around a train station or get an earlier train. The breakfast selection is extremely limited with... More

The location is great as it is in the centre of la Spezia near the market, but also a good base if you want to visit Cinque Terre! The owners are very nice and helpful and the service is great! The rooms are big, modern and VERY clean! The shower is just WOW!Especially after a sweaty day at Cinque Terre!... More

A great hotel with a helpful manager. Thank you Hilleria (I hope I spelled that correctly). We used this as a base to visit Cinque Terre. 20 minute walk to train. Decent breakfast but not outstanding. Room was large and clean and very European. Shower is excellent. I repeat, the shower is excellent, wonderful, giant rain forest shower head. Great... More

La Spezia is a bit of a run down dodgy town. But this hotel serves as a great base for visiting Cinque Terre especially if you have a car. The hotel has new new and modern rooms with a good shower, clean surroundings and very friendly staff. Parking is a bit tricky. You can park for free at nights outside... More

This B&B is a gem in the centre of La Spezia and is made even better by the excellent service of the owner. He helped with all sorts of things ranging from where to park the car, where the best coffee in La Spezia was to be had & alternative walks due to the main Cinque Terre ones being currently... More

We visited Cinque Terre in mid-November, and used La Spezia and Urban Chic House as our gateway. The proprietor was a lovely lady who gave us great dinner suggestions (the best pesto linguine I've ever had), and pointed us to Portovenere for more scenic sightseeing. The rooms were large and in good condition, very modern. My only complaint is that... More

This was our first time visiting Cinque Terre and we had heard horror stories about not being able to drive to hotels, so we chose to stay in La Spezia. We really lucked out! This small bed and breakfast was wonderful! The owner is so nice and helpful. She suggested taking the train to the end of Cinque Terre and... More

Great location, the parking is a bit far however. The room was great but the air conditioner seemed too weak to provide the cool air we needed during the month of July. A bit noisy at night and in the morning, but since it is in the city, it is to be expected. The breakfast was very good and the... More
