For such a reasonably priced room, I would give it a very good rating. The young woman, Sara, who ran the place made it all the more comfortable. The continental breakfast, and great coffee was an added plus. Although not an upscale place, it met our needs. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower was fine.

<<my husband and <i stayed here one night. The gal at the front desk was personable and very helpful. She spoke English and made a fabulous cup of cappucino in the morning and the breakfast was good with yogurt, kiwi, <italian pastries, cereal and poached eggs. The room was small but very clean, the bed was comfortable and the water... More

I looked and looked for something "reasonably priced" for one person in La Spezia for the night and at 37 euro (including breakfast) it was the best I could do! Very friendly girl who speaks English at reception, there is no elevator so getting up the stairs was a bit tough. Breakfast was the standard spread, including: yoghurt, coffee, cereal,... More

This is a $60 a night hotel about 15 minutes from the train station. It is what it is. The lady working the reception was sweet as can be and very helpful. She check me in at night & made me cappuccino at breakfast. Didn't see another soul working there in the 2 days I stayed. I would go back... More

We stayed at this little hotel for two nights while visiting Cinque Terre. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended the best restaurant ever. Trattoria La Nuova Spezia is just around the corner from the hotel. This restaurant makes up for what the hotel lacks. The bedroom and the bathroom were really really small but very clean. The... We stayed one night at this hotel as a base for visiting Cinque Terre. The hotel had a computer in the lobby with free internet and the staff were friendly but that's where the positives ended. There was no elevator, the room was not very good, the bathroom was tiny, the towels were closer to paper towels than bath towels,... More

Stayed for 3 nights in June to attend a wedding. Only a short walk from the train station. Room very clean. High ceiling & large. Only needed a few touches to make the room special then they would be able to charge a lot more! Bathroom very very small. Towels were more like a tablecloth. Staff helpful. Good central location.

We booked this last minute but when we arrived we learned that the second of our two night stay could not be booked. They had arranged for us to stay at the Hotel Astoria for the second night. Rooms were clean and air conditioning was a nice touch. Showers small even for Italy. Staff (limited english) were not accommodating when... More

Also check out the reviews on booking.com which seem to be a bit more recent that the previous ones here. 5 night stay exceeded my expectations. Nice double size room which was very comfortable and clean. Limited English but staff very helpful. 5 minute stroll to train station and plenty of restaurants and cafes close to hotel. Free internet station... More

The owners were very nice but the bathrooms did small moldy and it was close to an intersection where there was a lot of traffic all through the night. No air conditioning so you had to keep your window open to get any fresh air. Even ear plugs didn't help to muffle the noise from the street. Terrible sleep. A... More
