The location is the best: up the street from the railway, facing the trendy pedestrian walk. However, this little hotel is a very sad little place.Nothing "alive" about it - usually tourist hotels are buzzing with activity and a sense of good vibes. Here - silence and darkness. The room was too basic - on the level of a hostel... More

This hotel was A-OK for a clean bed to sleep in and a very good price. It was maybe not the prettiest but it was the cheapest we've stayed in and was greatly located. Indeed there was no ambiance nor lights in the hallways and the elevator is a little old, but we used the stairs. Our room was recently... More

We stayed at this hotel during a 1 month driving holiday. Compared to all of our other hotels it was quite depressing. Although clean, it was very tired and dismal. There was no carpet in the bedroom. The furnishings and bed cover were several decades old and very worn. The manager very obviously did not want to be there and... More

I don't know what people are complaining about. So it's not the Ritz, but neither is the price. So the staff have limited English, but hello, this is Italy! We thought the location was excellent, the property clean and well-run, the breakfast quite good for Continental style, and the price very reasonable. The room was small, but the bathroom good.... Albergo venezia is a clean and comfortable hotel with the best location when you are traveling to see Cinque Terre. The breakfast was very good, italian and personal, served by a italian lady. 3 min walking from the train station, where you can buy your DAY TICKET to use the train to see cinque terre. Albergo Venezia seems a family... More

It wasn't a good experience, we arrived after 22:00 and there were no staff at the reception to effect our check-in. Only one employee who apparently was the caretaker or night watchman, had to leave our passports for one night in the hotel safe to perform our check one by the next morning. The room are spacious, but with a... More

We travelled around Europe for 2 months and this was the worse hotel we stayed in. We had no accommodation booked so we walked in off the street without doing our homework. We got off the train and it was the first hotel we found so we took it. The man at the front desk was very rude and lazy.... More

Was a little worried by the mixed reviews of this property and picked it mainly because it is a 1 minute walk from the train station and we wanted to make a day trip to Cinque Terre. It is a family run establishment, clean rooms, more or less quiet and a good sized room and bathroom. It's also close to... More

If you plan to visit Cinque Terre by train, this would be the ideal hotel. It is just 100m from the train station. Otherwise, it is a basic, no thrill, clean hotel. If offered a good continental breakfast as the package. The hotel is run by its owner who is not particularly warm, but not unfriendly. When I check into... More

I read the reviews and they were very mixed on this hotel, so naturally I was a little worried before I arrived. However, it turned out to be clean, quiet and roomy enough. It was a great price, we had free wifi and free parking, and just a perfect location for getting to the trains to Cinque Terre and Venice... More
