This small, family run hotel is a good budget choice if you want to stay near the Genoa Piazza Principe train station. Prices are very reasonable for what you get room-wise. The rooms are basic and simply decorated, but have everything you need for a few nights. I was most impressed by how spotlessly clean the room was. I also... More

I arrived in Genova by train for a cruise. The location was perfect: across from the train station and a few blocks from the port. The hotel was very clean and well run by a couple. The property was updated, maintained and my room was a nce size and well equipped for my needs. The price paid was very fair... More

It was a great location just 1 mins away from the train station. The staff helped us to drew a walking tour on the map which took us to the shopping area and old town, which was fabulous. Wifi was fast and the hotel was small but quite cute. We really enjoyed our stay for such an economic... More

We had some difficulty finding accomodation as it was Friday and there was a big motor boat exhibition on in the city. We booked this hotel in extremis, being only two stars it wasn't what we are used too, but having read the recentions on t.a. we thought to give it a try. Although the lady at reception was very... Stayed at the Hotel for one night during our trip over Italy. The Hotel is well-furnished, clean and centrally located. The room is spacious with a confortable bed and renovated bathroom. The Hotel is owned by a family which was extremely polite and helpful, staying there makes you feel like home. They cared about us, recommended the places to visit... More

I received a warm welcome on arrival from Lady Anna, whom I found extremly kind, helpful and knowledgeable throughout my stay. -nothing was too much trouble. -The location of this hotel is perfect for a stay to Genova, nearby the railwaystation"Principe", as well as the connection bus"VolaBus" for the airport or somewhere. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of... More

We stayed here only one night provided from our booked hotel who double booked us! We got an apartment big enough for a large family and there was only two of us! They nicely changed our room to one with wi fi! Clean, spacious with everything you need! Opposite train station and near metro to get into historical centre! Had... More

We wondered to this hotel seeing it was the first we saw from the train station. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and she gave us good advice on sightseeing and dinner and allowed us to stay in one of their apartment rooms when she heard that we were doing a Europe tour as our honeymoon. The room was tidy and... More

Actually I stayed in this hotel in March 2005 but I remember it as being quiet, clean and good value. Genoa is terribly expensive and some of the hotels there are absolute slums. Hotel Chopin was a great discovery. My room was small and had no TV or desk but the feeling you got was of quality and care. Pity... More

The hotel was built in the mid-1600's. Every room in the part of the hotel I was staying in was at a different level, with meter-thick walls and lots of very old marble facing on walls and floors. Small, immaculately clean, but as far from modern as any hotel in Europe. I noticed several of the rooms are quite large,... More
