It's a good basic hotel for €55,- ( last minute booking ). The hotel room was very small, the shower a bit moldy and old and the air conditioning was not working properly. But for that price i'm not really complaining! The best of all: no bed bugs! Room 312 is a safe room to stay ;-)

Very authentic, very friendly, very cozy. Good breakfast. Historic building, nothing extra ordinary in the room but big and clean rooms. We had a room facing the back courtyard. In the morning a neighbour was playing piano, it was very nice...

As said in other reviews, this hotel has a serious bedbug problem and for the time being should be avoided at all costs. It hold a fairly good location but has no parking and the only other car park we could find was very expensive! The room was adequate, apart from the bedbugs of course, but the air conditioning was... More

This Hotel is just 5 minutes away main railway station (Genoa piazza principe) and was a perfect location for us, in transit, after a long hot traintrip. The reception lies on 1. Floor so one has to take a small elevator up to check in. We got two rooms as ordered, on two seperate floors (2. And 4.) but thats... More

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! Although the hotel is conveniently located and the staff are very friendly/helpful, this can never make up for the bedbug infestation! I first noticed a bed bug when I was lying in bed, but then I noticed another on my pillow. So only then did I decide to google some hotel reviews and I... More

Easily accessible hotel with all major amenities nearby. Very safe as the entrance on each floor is elecronically locked and monitored by cameras in the reception area.Car park within easy walking distance. Rooms are well-kept and spacious enough. Very good buffet breakfast for a 2-star hotel. Staff is really helpful and kind , especially the hotel receptionist , Maria Rosario.

Myself and friend stayed here for two nights, We didn't realise you could actually see bed bugs with the naked eye and dismissed the one we saw the first night as a normal bug and only realised at midnight the 2nd night ! Big mistake on our part, reception didn't even blink when we told them about it, just threw... More

You can see Genova Principe station from the front door. Friendly hotel with helpful staff, we really enjoyed our two night stay. However, we had a room looking over Via Balbi which can get quite noisy at times. Also, there was only one shared bathroom on our floor which meant for a lot of waiting around the first morning. BUT... More

Genoa was my 7th stop on a four week trip of northern Italy. Previous to this hotel, I have stayed at 6 other hotels or B&Bs (Rome, Florence, Bologna, Venice, Verona, Turin) and I can tell you that Hotel Aquaverde was the worse that I have stayed in even worse than Palma Residence in Rome which was my 8th stop...
