Not sure how thw star sistem works in Italy but I would say this is closer to a 3 star than a 4. Clean, hard beds, Air con of the 90's. basic breakfast reasonable price. Staff pleasant enough. IT access worked better using the next door hotel for free

It is closed to the train station (Genova Porta Principe) and few walks from the Acquario. Looking at it from the outside you don't give it a chance but if you go inside it is beautiful! The room was well furnished, well-kept and clean. The beakfast is good and various. Only with the croissants you will be spoiled for choice!... More

Changed rooms twice, rooms were dated and smelly! Staff did their best to help and breakfast was good. Only valet parking offered to us another €20 and the €5 per device internet connection didn't work in our room! Desperately needs updating, I find it hard to believe the previous reviews were made by genuine guests and I don't know how... More

Despite the staff being kind and accommodating the structure needs a major upgrade. The furniture in the bedrooms is so dark and outdated. The location is ideal though, I'd recommend if you're staying for an overnight. The area can be dodgy at night time being metres away from the main train station. Overall, choose at your own risk.

We stayed for 1 night and had very large and clean room. The bed wasn't very comfortable but bathroom compensated. Great location and very friendly staff. Online negative thing was wifi, which cost 5€/24h.

Very convenient hotel, room was big enough and had kitchen facilities, everything was clean and in relatively good shape, the only big negative point was that internet and the gym were not free, very expensive in fact.

I'm giving this hotel and excellent rating for the price and the friendly staff. It is not a upscale 5 star hotel. But for a single mother who likes to take her kids on adventures to see the world without a ton of money to spend, this is a great place to stay. We had 6 people in our group... More

Having read a few poor reviews on this hotel our expectations were not high, sure it's not in the most salubrious of areas and the entrance is not the most imposing, but the reception we received was welcoming and helpful. Our room, at the rear, overlooked a car park and had some noise but generally it was fine, clean and... More

We were looking for a relatively cheap hotel to stay in for the night on our way back from Cinque Terre to Geneva. We paid about $100 for it for the night. I am guessing that is a good price for a hotel in Genoa but it wasn't very nice. The bed, two twins put together, was super hard. The... More

I had no complaints about the hotel until we came to go to bed. Now it was a party weekend in Genoa so it may have a been a one off. Basically until I went down and complained to the hotel and the kebab shop staff there was a party going on below our room in their upstairs to the... More
