Claimed to be 4* hotel, receptionist doesnt speak any english, IT only. Nothing like a warm smiling welcome. Room was two levels, quite clean, worn out. Bathroom quite small. Old type telly. Needs renovation and modernisation. The real dissappointment was breakfast buffet. Very basic for 4* rating, no way to have it like that. Top of all was the rotten... More

We chose this hotel because we were told that is close to the Port of Genoa. This is not quite true...we had to walk more than 15 minutes with our luggage on the street, than we went down many stairs until we arrived to the Port.. Beside this disadvantage the hotel is close to the tram station and also to... More

I loved this hotel, firstly because of it's great location. You are literally 3 minutes from the main train station and minutes from the historic centre and port. The room, while not luxurious by any means, was clean and warm. The TV had all the english language news stations which was useful. The free wi-fi worked on my friend's phone,... More

I stayed one night here, having gotten a deal on the hotel. It is a two-minute walk from the train station and an easy walk to the old port. The hotel's entrance is a little worrisome in its grittiness, but it is nice inside, although hallways have a rather institutional feel to them. My room was good sized, had a... More

Not sure how thw star sistem works in Italy but I would say this is closer to a 3 star than a 4. Clean, hard beds, Air con of the 90's. basic breakfast reasonable price. Staff pleasant enough. IT access worked better using the next door hotel for free

It is closed to the train station (Genova Porta Principe) and few walks from the Acquario. Looking at it from the outside you don't give it a chance but if you go inside it is beautiful! The room was well furnished, well-kept and clean. The beakfast is good and various. Only with the croissants you will be spoiled for choice!... More

Changed rooms twice, rooms were dated and smelly! Staff did their best to help and breakfast was good. Only valet parking offered to us another €20 and the €5 per device internet connection didn't work in our room! Desperately needs updating, I find it hard to believe the previous reviews were made by genuine guests and I don't know how... More

Despite the staff being kind and accommodating the structure needs a major upgrade. The furniture in the bedrooms is so dark and outdated. The location is ideal though, I'd recommend if you're staying for an overnight. The area can be dodgy at night time being metres away from the main train station. Overall, choose at your own risk.

We stayed for 1 night and had very large and clean room. The bed wasn't very comfortable but bathroom compensated. Great location and very friendly staff. Online negative thing was wifi, which cost 5€/24h.
