My husband and I stayed for three nights and were pleased with this hotel. Good eating around the corner for a quick lunch and a nicer restaurant the hotel recommended just down the street where we had a nice longer dinner. While we were not there very much, the breakfast was a great way to start our day and always... More

Positives: very clean and well serviced, 100 metres from Brignole station, close to most of Genova's main attractions, helpful reception, competitive tariffs. Negatives: exterior street very noisy, no lift for cases, uncomfortable bed with bumpy innerspring mattress, no complimentary tea or coffee. Worth considering.

First off, Genoa has a bit of bad reputation. Some of the guide books make it sound run down and sketchy. Genoa is actually pretty impressive, with fantastic churches, elegant palazzos and a great old section of town. The Hotel Fiume is located right across the street from the Stazione Brignole, which is in a better part of town than... More

What a great find just across the road from Brignole Train Station. Fantastic and friendly service, would definitely recommend this hotel surrounded by little alleys of shops and cafés. Though the room was a little old, the price and location was reasonable and we loved it.

The entrance leaves a very good first impression. Fresh smells, nice interior, which is immediately let down when you enter the rooms. Steps, doors and windows seem to be placed totally random. On the positive side, a/c units are working great. They overstem the noise of the street as well.

We spent four nights in this great hotel. The staff was very friendly and service minded. It's in a good location close to the train station and a short walk from the old town. Everything was very clean. Would definitely recommend it as a good budget hotel.

Very clean, friendly staff. The breakfast was great. Close to many of the attractions. Keep in mind showers are made small on that side of the country. Get the Roma pass at the airport for savings. Enjoy and relax.

We stayed here for a long weekend recently. The hotel staff were lovely and spoke English well which we appreciated. My partner had informed them it was my birthday and they had put flowers, cakes and a happy birthday sign in our room before we arrived. Such a lovely gesture that got our holiday off to a great start. The... More

This hotel has friendly and helpful staff. While some staff did not speak english they tried hard and were tolerant of our bad Italian. Staff organised parking at a nearby facility at a reasonable cost. The hotel is nice and the view of the park (albeit undergoing an upgrade) was nice. This location is in amuch nicer area than many... More
