Location is great, you can walk to the harbor or stroll through the city centre without having to take bus/metro. Owner is very friendly and flexible when we asked to stay another night. First it wasn't possible but when he received a cancellation, he notified us immediately. Rooms are large, and excentricly designed. Good breakfast with a view.

First impressions were a bit daunting, but we had booked for a week so got on with it. The room at the back on the fourth floor was quiet and reasonably comfortable. "String" doors on wardrobe area a nuisance so tied them back, fridge was cool enough to keep water, I liked that the bathroom was off the main room,... More

I was supposed to spend a lot of time in this hotel but after only few minutes I decided to change it. I have a food intolerance quite common and I asked the owner if that was a problem and if he had any gluten free products for breakfast. "You can buy the food you need at the pharmacy nearby"... The girl on reception was very helpful. My room was a little quirkily decorated with rather badly done pink stripes on the wall and a painted door. It was a decent sized room and the window looked onto a small alley way so no view. There was a fridge but it didn't work and the electrics in the room looked... More

judging by other reviews and looking at pictures on the website I almost felt we were in a different hotel, apart from the hallway was the same. I can on,y assume they had not decorated or been In This room for many years. It was painted in places and not others, the bed was in the middle of the room,... More

This is an ancient part of Genoa and the hotel entrance is on a sloping cobbled ramp. Terrible in terms of access for parking, wheelchairs or carrying luggage. However there are nearby some pleasant restaurants with street-side tables. Inside the hotel everything is cramped and old-fashioned and dimly lit, with a lot of character but not in a great state... This hotel is well located, a short walk from Ferrari Piazza. The room was comfortable, with window seats under the two windows, a large chest of drawers, a tiny fridge, plenty of hangers in the wardrobe and a large stool at the end of the bed. The décor was quirky with fringe hangings, a half-desk protruding from the wall and... More

This hotel is a very nice family hotel in the old city center of Genoa. The room we had was large, with airco. The bathroom was clean and nice decorated. The breakfast at the top floor was very good: fresh bread, fresh fruit, home baked cake and delicious cappuccino.

We just stayed for one night to visit Genoa. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Staff was also very friendly. What I liked the most was the top floor where you can have breakfast. You get a stunning view of the town! Breakfast itself was decent. It's also a family run hotel and that gives a special touch... More

Basic but comfortable accommodation in a very central location within Genova's historic area. Rooms are small but clean. Nice terrace for breakfast, public parking within walking distance (although not nearby), plenty of day and evening action in the area (including Colombo's birthplace 50 m away). Owners are very kind and helpful.
