The checking can be a bit stressfull. You need to know that the center of Genoa can not be accessed by car, you need park outside (25 euro a day) and walk with your luggage to try to find the reception located Plazza Saint Lorrenzo. Bad luck, they have no sign and no precise number to help you to locate... More

We stayed here for a night, and it was value for money. The room spacious, friendly staff and we recommend it!! The hotel is centrely located in the old town. The breakfast was good, well served. The staff was ever ready to assist with our request.

We spend two nights in this hotel; it is in a superb location but you need to be aware it is in a pedestrian area and the nearest parking is about 5 min walk which is ok when you only have " carry-on" luggage. Hotel is difficult to find as the entrance is almost in a small alley way on... More

We rented an apartment for 6 nights. The big apartment wasn't ready when we came so we had to stay in a smaller one the first night. No excuse from staff. The apartments seems to be spread over town, we stayed far from piazza san Lorenzo. The apartment was nothing like the pictures, furnitures and TV from the 70's, bugpoison... More

The style and furniture of the hotel is great. Also the rooms are spacious and the beds are good. However, the shower was nor up to standard and the whole sanitary equipment was not what you expect at a four star hotel. Also the breakfast is just average. The location though is very good - if you arrive by car,... More

Web site looks good, therefore booked an apartment to get something really superb. We arrived on 23 June, let in back door by builders, front door not in use. Entrance hall and staircase in darkness and lift not going to reception on first floor. Had to carry heavy bags up staircase. Our apartment was in Palazzo Meridiana, a 7. Minute... More

The hotel is indeed incredibly nice - but they have some serious organization problems. When I got there with a colleague they told us at the reception that due to "technical problems" we were going to be moved into two apartments in the core of the old town. The apartments were beautiful and everything was working perfectly, but once again... More

Locanda di Palazzo Cicala runs a network of appartments and to our great disappointment the two flats we were 'assigned' bore very little relation to the photos on the company´s site. After the first night we were moved to a new flat as it transpired that the hot water boiler was not working in the first one; the second appartment... More

We had been booked into the hotel, but upon our arrive they reception informed us that they were redecorating some of the rooms. They had put us into one of their apartments. We were delighted with the very stylish flat they put us in. Very minimalist, huge windows, clean,we were delighted.it had kettle and fridge tea and coffee. huge bathroom... More
