A convenient location for a stay in Genoa. Rooms fairly small and a bit dark but clean and quite adequate if you are not intending to spend much time in them apart from sleeping. A room at the back will be less noisy but you may still need to keep the windows shut - there is air conditioning. Staff friendly... More

Ideal location, on the edge of the old town and a 5 minute walk from the old port area, and less than 10 minutes from the main train station. The service was excellent, very friendly with lots of great advice about the area, restaurants and so on. Breakfast was reasonable, and the size of my room was good. The facilities... More

For a 3 star hotel, rooms are very old and breakfast is very poor. Have to pay €15 daily for parking your car two blocks away and you have to leave the keys with the parker. What you see in pictures is not what you get.

This hotel is in a very old building. It was built in 1585, and there has been a hotel here for over 300 years, but you wouldn't know it once you are in your room. Clean, with a reasonable amount of space, a bit dark, but otherwise OK. The bathroom is updated and modern. Room includes blow dryer, wifi, fridge... More

Nice hotel, perfect location right in the centre - I was looking for a hotel near the convention centre and this is just 15 minutes walk. Not exactly new and shiny, but clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good and the view from my room absolutely stunning (to the Piazza). Wifi worked fine on the 2nd... More

Location was great, staff were helpful, breakfast was fine, and rooms were clean. If you need a place close to the train station and to the port then this is a great budget hotel to consider. The only downside was that on the top floor the wireless signal was really weak (two of our devices couldn't even pick it up).

A small very quirky hotel, stayed two seperate nights in different rooms - both totally different shapes and sizes, but clean and well fitted. Shower excellent. Staff, both day and night, very friendly, helpful and efficient. Local shops and supermarket only a minutes walk away.

I needed a hotel that was close to the Principe train station but also not far from Porto Antico, where my husband was working. This hotel ended up being just right. We did not have a car, so had no parking needs, and wanted to be relatively close to walkable/public transportation sites. The good: The price was great for what... More

This hotel is a great location if you come to visit by car. Driving to and around Genoa is a great adventure or a nightmare. And finding parking place is the same. The city is literally built along a mountainside. Every flat piece of land to the sea is build up. So roads and streets are litereally multileveled. And this... More

First time in Genoa - stayed here due to the high recommendations on Tripadvisor - lived up to all - a very positive experience.
