I would recommend this hotel when visiting Genoa. The room was clean and spacious. Ample varied breakfast, staff spoke English and were willing to help with places to visit. Plenty of information on where to visits in Genoa and surrounding area. Free Wi Fi in room

Location:Excellent..In Old town close to all palaces..shops...port and 10-15 minute walk to train station. easy walking everywhere with numerous cafes/restaurants close by. Hotel: Friendly and secure.Rooms small (as all city hotels) but nice decor and very clean.Staff very helpful.Breakfast adequate with the best coffee in town.3rd floor location with quirky lift !! Superb location (10 min walk to the main squares), super helpful staff, nice and adequately sized bedrooms and an excellent breakfast all combine to make this a super choice. The man on the desk (not sure of his name, but he seems to be the main man here) has superb recommendations for eating options and wine bars throughout the city.

The only real drawback to this hotel is the rigmarole involved in using the lift, which was pretty ancient. The reception is on the third floor and it was difficult to use when dragging luggage. A great base for exploring Genoa--walkable from Principe station, close to the museums on Via Garibaldi, and easy access to the rest of the old city. Good value for money with smallish pleasant rooms. Room 9 opens on the terrace.
