Our extended family of 9 adult siblings and young adults stayed here for 2 nights. Our primary hotel selection criteria was proximity to the train station and harbor. For that we couldn't get any closer. We got that and way more. Hotel was a gem with comfortable, well-appointed rooms, excellent wi-fi, air conditioning, helpful staff and great breakfasts. The neighborhood... More

After staying in the Hotel Continental for a week, we can confidently say that this is a fantastic place to have as a homebase when you are in Genova. The weather was hot during our visit and the cool airconditioned room with a perfect view and a free bottle of water and clean sheets on our bed everyday was the... More

This hotel is one of the best hotels in Genoa. We stayed for 2 nights A very clean place, very comfortable, exceptional helpful staff, great breakfast, central and a 10 minutes walk from the old harbor. Located near the train station, still very quiet. Great room, with everything needed to make you feeling good. Excellent air-condition. Our feelings were we... More

This hotel is a little gem! Located about 200m from the Genova Piazza Principe station, which is super handy when you have loads of luggage! We stayed here for 2 nights and felt very welcomed on arrival by lovely reception staff. We stayed in a 'classic double room' but to be honest when we walked into the room we felt... More

Recently stayed for for 3 nights. Great location and value. Loved the quaint elevator. Room lovely and big. I stayed in a room for single person and the only down side was size of shower extremely small. My other family members rooms were lovely and big and the bathrooms large. Very clean. Beds and pillows comfortable. Can be noisy but... More

The Hotel Continental was a perfect base for a 5 day stay in Genoa, a very under-rated city. As we were travelling by train the hotel was for us in an excellent position very close to the main station. It allowed us to easily do day trips to Rapallo and Nervi. We had a room overlooking the piazza. It was... More

The Hotel Continental is a great hotel to stay in if you are visiting Genoa Italy. It is located just across from the train station Principe otherwise a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport (approx 25 euros). The reception is small but well decorated with marble and an old fashioned lift. We booked double rooms and were not disappointed.... More

The rooms were clean, but the bathtub/shower wasn't that comfortable. You have to find a right spot, so that the water doesn't spill all over the floor. Why can't they just update the tub with shower curtains...The only annoying part about the room. Other than that, great location. 200 metres from the train station and a short walk to one... More

A small but comfortable room in a nice hotel with unexpectedly nice public areas on the first floor for relaxing, including an outdoor terrace. Well-located for Genoa's main areas of interest all of which are in an easy walk - the basilica at the end of the street is an amazing must-see. A good choice of local restaurants in the... More
