If you want one night's accommodation close to the ferry port, then this hotel is satisfactory. However, if like me me you visit Genoa on business, then forget it. The decor in my room was tired, the only power point that I could reach without rearranging the furniture was in the bathroom. There is no high speed internet or wireless available, there is a bar, but it never opens, and the restaurant is only open for breakfast. If you have a long day and just want a room service meal in the evening - forget it.

The rooms at the front of the hotel might be better, as if you have a rear room you are right over a very noisy road with a fire station on it and they do like the sound of their sirens day or night.

The service could also have been better, I tried to use the laundry service on a Friday (laundry handed in by 9.00 am returned by 9.00 pm) and my unwashed laundry was returned on Saturday because they had forgot to send it out.
