I found location very convenient as tourist (i wasn't on a cruise) , friendliest staff, wonderful 5 star bathroom, ample breakfast buffet, and don't forget to spend time in their spa. Very comfortable beds too!

We had booked a courtyard-view room, but were upgraded to a harbor-view executive room on arrival because we preferred two single beds rather than a double. From reading other reviews, I was a bit worried about noise, but we were on the 5th floor and it was quiet. We could hear/feel the trains rumbling through in the evening, but once... More

We enjoyed a two night stay here at the end of a 2 week trip to Italy. We were upgraded to gorgeous room on the front side. Excellent double glazing knocked out all traffic noise for sleeping. We could not find fault with anything. I agree with other trip advisors that maybe the location isn't perfect when you walk out... More

Hotel is within 2 minutes walk of the main train station which in other cities is not very desirable but not the case here. Also within easy walking distance of all major sights and shops. Buffet breakfast had everything you could wish for. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet with spacious bathroom and the most amazing power shower. Beautiful... More

The hotel is right opposite the railway and bus station, within walking distance of everything in the old town. There's a roof terrace with great views of the whole of Genoa. Staff are pleasant and professional, decor is old-world but mint condition. The beds are very comfortable, and as central Genoa is quiet we slept like logs and woke to... More

Classy, tasteful and luxurious hotel in true Italian style. This sophisticated hotel is vey affordable and located near enough to the main sights. Within walking distance but most ideal for a stay over if you are taking a cruise from the rt as it's located across the way only 5 min walk. The rooms and hotel are stunning and clean.... More

From the warm reception at the front desk to the plentiful toiletries in the bath the Grand Savoia was wonderful. We only stayed one night and really felt like we should've stayed two, only for the luxury this hotel offered. We walked easily from the train station with three bags and the hotel was close enough for us to walk... More

Bed. 8,7 / 10 We staid over the Easter Holiday at this hotel, so we were not dependent on the Internet for work, only for pleasure, but if we had to count on the Internet we would have been in a serous trouble. We could at times not connect for hour and hours and the when we were able to... More

Enjoyable stay at this hotel close to the main train station in Genova. Spacious well-appointed rooms, friendly and helpful staff, extensive breakfast buffet, spa, rooftop terrace with jacuzzi. Although close to the train station, not particularly noisy. A few minutes walk to the old centre of Genova.

The experience was below average. There is no way this can be considered a 5-star hotel. The lobby is nice, but that's about it. The service was horrendous as most of the staff with whom we interacted were pretty rude, showed a lack of caring and willingness to help with even little things like directions. Seemingly, the employees are not... More
