The absolute highlight of our trip to the French Cote D'Azur and the Italian Riviera was our family stay at this wonderful hotel, the staff could not have been more helpful , the food was wonderful and so hospitable , I can't comprehend how anyone can say anything critical about this Hotel , we loved every day here and even... Had 2 nights in this lovely hotel. Very conveniently situated right next to rail station. Excellent front desk team. Very friendly staff. Room and bathroom very nice. Did not have a view. Lovely rooftop terrace for breakfast and cocktails. Genoa a delightful city to visit.

I must admit I was disappointed with the hotel - it is No 1 in Genova but has a slightly down-market feel to it. The breakfast was very good but the restaurant was not very classy - although the view is fantastic. The staff are not unfriendly but not super friendly as I experience in Turin, Milan and Venice. The... More

We stayed here for three nights and it was superb. First of all it had everything you could ever want. Great room with a super comfy bed and bathroom with a tub (awesome huge shower head to). The breakfast was so good I still can wake up with the thought of it stuck in my head. The spread had all... More

We spent the last few days of our European holiday in the Grand Hotel Savoia and what a great way to finish it was. This is a fantastic hotel that is next to the main railway station and bus stop for Genoa so getting there is really easy. As our visit was in summer the restaurant on 7th floor was... More

I stayed here for one night, and it was really nice ! the hotel public spaces have an italian charm, it's definitely worth seeing and the best thing is the top floor where you can have wonderful view of the whole city, they have a restaurant there/cafe so having breakfast in the morning with the view is really nice !... Location-right across road from national train station. Within walking distance from attractions. Beautiful old building with antique furniture and period decorations. Highly recommended. Spa bath offered on 7th floor set to max 89f-found too cold.

This is a lovely, old hotel with beautiful public spaces right out of a movie set. The location is ideal (1 block walk) if you arrive by train. We were also able to walk to the cruise terminal in 10 minutes with luggage. Very good buffet breakfast

A wonderfully historic late 19C hotel (a la Grand Budapest Hotel) beside the railway station with grand foyer and salon; our room overlooking the square was huge with oversize bed wardrobe and other furniture. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and cheerful , especially the young ladies at the seventh floor dining room, which has sweeping views over the city. Mussolini... More
