I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - every aspect of our experience was excellent. It offers all you could want for a stay in Genova - great, convenient location for train station, local buses and walking into the city centre; professional and attentive staff, whether at Reception, housekeeping or breakfast service; comfy, spotlessly clean and quiet rooms and a... a historical and very elegant hotel, with very good maintainance and at a very good location in genova, close to dozens of restaurants a via balbi, 5 minutes walking from the sea, 10 minutes walking from the maritime museum and 15 minutes walking from the historical centre of genova. no noises wereheard from the outside. my room was elegant and... This hotel is by far the best value for money hotel in Genova. The services and comforts offered were superior by far to the five star hotel experience of the highly priced, high profile and over rated hotel in Stresa we transferred to. From the minute we walked in at the Grand Hotel Savoia we were made to feel right... More

Great hotel, I recommend it. the spa is as clean as it gets, although towels could have been changed more regularly and the jacuzzi was not accessible. we waited quite a while at check out to get our car back, and that's really the only downside there was (but a big one since we waited over 30minutes!) otherwise great hotel,... My husband and I stayed here last year and the property is enchanting. Impeccable service, clean, and well kept. However, the city... not so much. We weren't comfortable going out after dark and morning time didn't fare any better. Witnessed policemen running, chasing criminals with stolen bags from the train depot at 7:00 a.m. Hotel and hotel staff were excellent.... More

to be honest this is the number one hotel in genoa and I believe it, the biggest problem with the hotel is that genoa is a dirty, dingy, nasty port city, if you are a tourist I would plan not to stay in genoa at all if you can avoid it, the surrounding neighborhood although walkable was the most unsafe... This was a really nice hotel and loved staying here for 2 night before our cruise. It is only a few minutes walk from the cruise terminal and next door to the train station. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Cannot fault it as a place to stay at all. The bonus was the spa in the basement which... More

We booked this hotel via a tour operator 118cruises as we we're joining the Ventura. We could not have wished for a better start to our holiday. On arrival we were offered an upgrade for a great price which we took, wow what a view.... The room was excellent with everything you could need and such a huge huge bathroom... More

very good service, this is an excellent hotel, attractive building with wonderful decor. Breakfast a little sparse, you need to ask for eggs done to your liking, but otherwise quite good. Rather expensive if it is not included in your booking as the y charge 12euros

We found a bargain deal over booking.com and where overwhelmed checking in at our arrival. The Hotel is not quite in the city center where all the shops are, bit within 5-10 Minutes walk your there. (The Same for the harbor) The Reception was very professional, and also the other staff friendly. Our standard room into the inner Side was... More
