Rooms were very pleasant, great view over Genoa from our window. Good size bathroom and facilities. Continetnal breakfast was included and was of reasonable quality. We dined in the restaurant one evening and this was also good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for all groups. more

The Best Western City Hotel was in a nice part of Genoa, although it's down a small street that's very hard to find if you are driving. Also, we weren't able to find anywhere to park so we had to pay for valet parking which was about 14 euro per night. The staff was nice and the breakfast was decent.... more

We stayed at the Best Western City Hotel for 4 nights in July. We had travelled by Eurocity Train from Milano to Genova and were relieved to find that this great little hotel situated in the centre of the city, in a seemingly quiet alleyway was equipped with beautifully cool air conditioning and...... a refrigerator!! We found the residents of... more

Nice hotel. Typical small Italian hotel room but it was nicely furnished and very clean. Nice staff. Only stayed one night as we were leaving on a cruise the next day. Free wi-fi. more

Hotel was overbooked and they did not have a room for us. refused to honor the rate I was promised on their website charged us $60 Euros more... more

Placed on heart of the city, next to the amazing square "de Ferrari". Receptionist are kind, bed and pillows are fantastic (you can chose between two size), breakfast is adequate. If you want to visit the city this hotel is the right choice because you are downtown and next to the Tube. The only issues is linked to your car,... more

We stayed at the hotel during Christmas and found the staff very nice and the hotel is in a great location for getting around Genoa. Our room was located on the 7th floor and was spacious and had all we needed. Breakfast was included, which was the usual offered at hotels in Europe; cereals, yogurts, cakes, toast, etc. The hotel... more

We only stopped over in Genoa for one night during a driving trip in Northern Italy, but it was a lovely stopover. The hotel had reserved us a private parking space, as requested, and the valet even cleaned the windscreen overnight. Once in the hotel, we were, for some reason, upgraded to a suite!! It was a wonderful surprise. The... more

This hotel is very well located. The front desk staff was friendly. The rooms are modest. The breakfast was good. For the price paid you would expect more for the hotel facilities and the restaurant. The breakfast was decent but modest. It was good unless you take in account the price of $187 euros and compare them to other places... more

Our third stay at this hotel. Mainly because Genoa is the centre of the Italian Riviera and there are trains to the sensational Cinque Terre (try the walking routes), Camogli (one of the most beautiful seaside towns in the Mediterranean), and in the other direction to Noli and Albenga. Just a warning about the trains --- almost always late ---... more
