This has to be one of the best priced places in downtown Genoa. It is within twoor three blocks of the Ferrari Fountain, the Opera House, and the old Noble Street. One can walk to the funiculari, the ascensore, and the old part of town without breaking a sweat. No Handicapped entrance, however. ( It is Europe) It is noisy at... More

This hotel can´t be located better as it is close to the central square and thus has all main attraction reachable on foot, including Castelletto quartier from which you could admire Genoa from above. There is quite near also a stop of the airport bus and metro station. Apart from this it offers a very high level of services like... More

The Metropoli hotel is very conveniently located, close to Genoa's best attractions in the historical centre, Piazza De Ferrari, the opera theatre, the magnificent palaces in via Garibaldi, the aquarium, etc. Rooms are nothing special and not particularly large, but they are comfortable and clean, with the most needed facilities, free wifi included (through a password that can be obtained... I stayed here with my family while visiting Italy. We booked three rooms. All were comfortable but a bit snug. The breakfast in the morning was very good and had many options. The waitstaff was very attentive to the hotel guests. There are plenty of places to walk to and many tour options nearby.

Located in the heart of Genoa and walking distance from Brignole Station. Our stay was in a Quad room for 3 nights and found it to be very good value for money. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was of a decent standard and breakfast was included in the price. Would not hesitate to stay here again !

I stayed here twice within a few weeks and would certainly check prices and availability if I were to return to Genova. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The breakfast had a good choice. My room was in the first floor overlooking the square, light and airy, warm and comfortable. Despite overlooking the square, I did... More

We stayed in the Best Western Metropoli for one night - our first night in Italy. We had a wonderful time -the location was perfect - easy to walk from place to place; the room was comfy and the view from the window delightful. we found the staff were helpful and friendly and it was no trouble giving us a... Excellent location! good staff, breakfast and many gadgets for kids. Very close to the acquarium, city centre and other places, as the Rail stations (about 1.2 km) and the Cathedral. We did appreciate the WiFi and the room.

Few words beforehand. We have been travelling across Italy in September 2013, staying every next night in another place. All in all, we stayed in some 15 hotels on the both Italian coasts and our main “concept” was to travel without any particular plan, booking when we need it and to spend no more than EUR100 per night. "However" -... More

Needed a stopping point on the way North to Geneva and this was great. Family room with huge double bed and bunk beds. Parking was not book able but we have a disabled badge so parked pretty close. Didn't arrive until 8.30pm so asked advice on where to eat...was recommended " le Rune" nearby....excellent choice! The highlight of the stay... More
