I stayed in this hotel for five nights while on business. I had an upgraded room on the 5th floor which was very spacious with a balcony and fully modern (I suspect recently updated?) bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. Nice desk for work, large armoires and dresser for clothing. In room climate control worked perfectly, and noise... More

I stayed two nights in this hotel. It is conventiently located next to the old town, the Piazza Ferrari and the Pallazo del Ducale, all on walking distance. Although the entrances suggest it is a small hotel, it is not. The hotel sports 5 floors. On the 2nd there is an excellent restaurant, particularly for dinner. The rooms are spacy... More

What a wonderful hotel, it is a long way from the train station but situated right in central old Genoa. So much to see and do within walking distance of this hotel. The staircase is amazing, champagne at breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable . Highly recommend!

Slightly disappointed with this hotel as it good reviews. Our first problem was the programmed room keys didn't work and this problem reoccurred the next day. We had requested a double room and got two single beds and the staff were quite good about moving us to another room but that room had the blackout curtains missing which we realised... More

The hotel is located in the very center of Genova on an old and beautiful street. Even though it's a busy shopping street during the day, there's no bars in close proximity, so there's peace and quiet at night! The staircase has been reinnovated and it absolutely stunning, definetely something you won't forget. Hotel staff spoke (at least) perfect English... More

Surprisingly high standard for 4 stars. No parking by the hotel. Relatively small hall and definitely small reception counter. However room was big, clean, well equipped. Breakfast served in charming restaurant. Friendly service.

A good 4* family hotel - italian style. Free internet. Huge room, huge very comfortable bed and pillows - but - please - why is there only ever 1 armchair in a room? If 2 people are paying a lot of money to stay in a hotel does it ever occur to management that both people would like to sit... More

I stayed for one night in this hotel in March. First of all I take this opportunity to thank the friendly receptionist for her recommendation to where I could buy the delicions local pesto. Having said that the hotel has a spectacular oval stair and offer a very good breakfast buffet. However this is generally standard in Italy. I also... More

Location, location, location! The hotel sits just on the edge of the historic old city, less than 1 block from the Palazzo Ducale (art museum) and the city's giant fountain. It is only 15 min walking to Brignole Train Station. I was surprised how small it is for a "palace," we walked right past it initially! While it is "grand"... More

This hotel has seen better days and definitely needs some upkeep and repair. The staff needs some coaching around how to be nice and actually accommodate guests. When we arrived we could not locate the hotel so I called for directions and an impatient staff told me to send her an email. Luckily we were near another hotel that was... More
