Okay, I don't want to sound too negative so I will start with what is good... 1) beds are fabulous, comfy and pillows were perfect 2) location, perfect. 10 minutes stroll to the port. 3) great breakfast, if a little complicated and unorganised but after your first time, you will figure it out. 4) massive rooms, lots of space and... Excellent location for talking walks through the old town, and for the shopping areas. Love the winding staircase, and the old world charm of this hotel. Rooms are huge. We even had his and hers closets. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice touch with the champagne for breakfast to mix your own mimosas. Our room faced the front of a... More

I booked what looked to be a lovely quadruple room for our family of four near the end of our time in Europe on June 3 and 4. To our surprise we were upgraded to a huge corner suite for no extra charge. The dollar is strong now so it was probably half or less the price of a similar... More

The hotel access is on a very busy shopping street. There is a small bay to park while you check in at reception. Then your car will be taken away to be parked and to be retrieved at 15 minutes notice. You won't need it. The hotel is at the heart of the city. The entrance is small, leading to... More

I stayed in this hotel for five nights while on business. I had an upgraded room on the 5th floor which was very spacious with a balcony and fully modern (I suspect recently updated?) bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. Nice desk for work, large armoires and dresser for clothing. In room climate control worked perfectly, and noise... More

I stayed two nights in this hotel. It is conventiently located next to the old town, the Piazza Ferrari and the Pallazo del Ducale, all on walking distance. Although the entrances suggest it is a small hotel, it is not. The hotel sports 5 floors. On the 2nd there is an excellent restaurant, particularly for dinner. The rooms are spacy... More

What a wonderful hotel, it is a long way from the train station but situated right in central old Genoa. So much to see and do within walking distance of this hotel. The staircase is amazing, champagne at breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable . Highly recommend!

Slightly disappointed with this hotel as it good reviews. Our first problem was the programmed room keys didn't work and this problem reoccurred the next day. We had requested a double room and got two single beds and the staff were quite good about moving us to another room but that room had the blackout curtains missing which we realised... More

The hotel is located in the very center of Genova on an old and beautiful street. Even though it's a busy shopping street during the day, there's no bars in close proximity, so there's peace and quiet at night! The staircase has been reinnovated and it absolutely stunning, definetely something you won't forget. Hotel staff spoke (at least) perfect English... More

Surprisingly high standard for 4 stars. No parking by the hotel. Relatively small hall and definitely small reception counter. However room was big, clean, well equipped. Breakfast served in charming restaurant. Friendly service.
