This hotel has seen better days and definitely needs some upkeep and repair. The staff needs some coaching around how to be nice and actually accommodate guests. When we arrived we could not locate the hotel so I called for directions and an impatient staff told me to send her an email. Luckily we were near another hotel that was... More

This is one of the rare hotels, that is looking better in real life, than on the photos. A wonderful and charming place right in the very middle of Genoa. We had an excellent room at the top-floor, overviewing the street and the fountain nearby from the balcony. The decoration and the furnitures are so beautyful, not to mention the... More

Old and charming hotel modernised in a fine way. A very nice place to stay in the middle of old Genova. The hall with the reception is fantastic - never seen a stairway like this! The staff wellcomes you warmly and check in is quick and professional. We had room 645 which was a huge and fantastic nice room high... More

The hotel is bang in the centre of Genoa. Accessible from the airport by a 6 euro bus (stops just up the road) or a 30 euro taxi. The building is impressive with a superb and dominating staircase. The service was good. We were lucky enough to have a junior suite, a large and grand room filled with antiques. The... More

I stayed there during December 2014. An old and classy building (past century perhaps) very clean and with an excellent decoration and amazing stairs ! Very spacious room, with huge bed. Vintage furniture brings me memories from my childhood. Rooms are very quite& clean all though there is too much traffic in the area. Well sited , very close to... More

A beautiful old belle epoque classic hotel perfectly located in the heart of Genoa. My room was large, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast excellent. The staff outstanding. The price under 100 euros a night. Yes, all true. Over the years I've stayed in more than a few of those classic old hotels in Europe. My experience here was right up... More

We had an enormous, tastefully furnished room and an extremely comfortable bed. Even though it was on the main street it was quiet and you could open the windows. The breakfast was excellent. It is in an excellent central location very close to the main sites and the historic city centre. The hotel really added to our enjoyment of our... More

I can't say enough good things about The Hotel Bristol Palace! Our room was beautiful, clean, very nicely appointed and very large! The rooms and windows are very well insulated, so very quiet. The breakfast room was lovely with a wide selection of goodies to choose from. One afternoon we ordered a glass of champagne and we were given a... More

We stayed at the Bristol Palace for 5 nights, in a beautifully furnished two-room suite. Our rooms were quiet, even though facing the street, and both the bedroom and bathroom were extravagantly large. We used the parlor merely to hide the luggage, although it contained a second desk, an armoire, and a seating area. The Bristol's staff directed us perfectly... More
