Located right on the center of Genova, close to De Ferrari Square, the hotel is one of the best place to stay when you travel for business or pleasure in Genova. If you want to go to historical port all you have to do is go along Ducal Palace and take the street straight down to the port. Here you... More

I have always been in love with Italian architecture and this hotel delivers the history of architecture very well. We stayed here for the night because we were too tired to drive back to Cannes but we were be able to find a room at midnight. Delicious breakfast as well.

The start of my experience wasn't so good. Was given keys (no help with my bag) and found that the room was not cleaned from the previous occupant... ugh! Elevator music was strange for the hotel's fancy decore (American blues). On the plus side, its on the nicest (and safest) part of Genoa and for that it is worth the... More

Hotel was in a great location, close to everything, no hot water first day and when we did have it the shower trickled out, really old and dated hotel, no tea or coffee making facilities, was told you had to hire a SUITE to have this, really? in a four star hotel thought it was the norm!!!! no one at... What a stunning entrance inside the door of the hotel. A staircase winding up to the sixth floor. A great photo! The staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. They will print a train timetable for you and generally are very knowledgeable about the local attractions. We loved the ambience of this beautiful old hotel. After reading another review... More

This is a really elegant building inside, though we found the entrance hard to find on the busy street. (There were a lot of street traders outside which made us feel a little uncomfortable.) The beautiful public rooms and amazing staircase were a treat. Our room, at the back, was extremely quiet, the air conditioning worked brilliantly and the bed... More

This hotel is old , but you wouldn't know it by the quality of it. An amazing hotel with charm that only comes from years of service. Great staff, I recommend it , highly. Our room was clean and I'd stay again The location was really good, close to piazza de Ferrari and a quick walk to the harbour.

Centrally located, the rooms are claen and roomy. And old world look and charm. However, like most Eurpoena hotels, there are hardly any staff. One has to lug one's bags to and from the room, which can get awkward. I saw some really elderly ladies carrying their bags up to their rooms. Assisted them.
