If you have booked a room in this hotel through booking.com and have had it confirmed, do not hold out hope of getting a room there. I booked a room here over two weeks ago and had it confirmed. This morning, an hour before we were due to arrived, I received a phone call to say that we were being... More

Mdme indicated a requirement for a short trip to Italy. Rome was busy (apparently Easter's quiet the thing) so with an eye to Mdme's voluptuous profile, a room at the "Bristol Palace" was booked under the name of Mr & Mrs Ooeermrs We were ensconced on the sixth floor in room 644; a favourable omen as odd numbers have often... Great location in the heart of town. The family room on the 6th floor was perfect for us and our kids. King + double sofa bed. Very easy access to the metro and main piazza. Breakfast buffet was very nice and we could even order espresso/cappuccino. There are many nice shops and restaurants that are very close by and the... More

This hotel is lovely with beautiful paintings on wall and ceiling, large comfortable rooms and bathrooms and, despite being on the street side, no disturbance to sleep. Little noise also carries between rooms and floors. The breakfast choices offered and their quality were one of the best every experienced. Its location is near to the old town, the metro and... This hotel is from another time, keeping old spirit with today's comfort. The "duomo" is marvelous (at the entrance in front of the reception look above your head). Breakfast is fine. The hotel is calm. Being in the middle of the old town is clearly an advantage too.

Ideally placed just of the main Piazza de Ferrari close to the main sites of Palazzo Ducale ,San Lorenzo and all the fascinating little streets and alleyways of "Il Centro Storico" (Old Town) with all it's little alleyways, squares and steep steps. A short walk from the attractions of Porto Antico, the old harbour with medieval arcades and the largest... More

This is a ancient ancient Hotel right in the heart of Genoa (close to Piazza de Ferrari) The feeling is like being inside of an old palace of a better time. Breakfast is decent. The rooms are not big enough but the best thing is where the Hotel is located (to go shopping or going out for dining)

In the old centre of the city, this hotel just oozes class. Even on the busy main street, the car hop works. The reception is friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and well appointed. The barman knows his drinks and is really old school. I will definitely be back!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my fiancee. Check-in went smooth. Having asked for a room a few floors up and away from the elevator, we received a rather spacious room with probably 4 meters in height to the ceiling. The location could not be better right on the Via XX Settembre with Piazza de Ferrari just around the corner... More
