This is a really elegant building inside, though we found the entrance hard to find on the busy street. (There were a lot of street traders outside which made us feel a little uncomfortable.) The beautiful public rooms and amazing staircase were a treat. Our room, at the back, was extremely quiet, the air conditioning worked brilliantly and the bed... More

This hotel is old , but you wouldn't know it by the quality of it. An amazing hotel with charm that only comes from years of service. Great staff, I recommend it , highly. Our room was clean and I'd stay again The location was really good, close to piazza de Ferrari and a quick walk to the harbour.

Centrally located, the rooms are claen and roomy. And old world look and charm. However, like most Eurpoena hotels, there are hardly any staff. One has to lug one's bags to and from the room, which can get awkward. I saw some really elderly ladies carrying their bags up to their rooms. Assisted them.

Our first trip to Italy together for my good lady and I. Booked the Bristol Palace with return flights through Expedia (sorry TripAdvisor) for 4 nights. I cannot find fault with the hotel for the price we paid. It worked out around £20 each per night. So long as you stay out of the room mini bar it stays cheap.... More

Dear Madam, Thank you so much for your review. We are glad you appreciated our rooms, which even if we are in the center of a busy city are rather quiet because the entire building is soundproof. I am very sorry you experienced a delay at the front desk: this was possibly due to the very busy summer season but... More

Our third visit to this beautiful and traditional hotel. It gets better each time. We had suite 345 which is vast...could have had a dance in there. Beautifully appointed, good air con and swiftly serviced. Only found out mini bar was free when we left! Service has improved. My only minor gripe is that the shower fabric curtain is too... More

Excellent location. Easy access to most part of the town. Just a warning to all, the reception told us that the mineral water was free but would attempt to charge €3.6 per bottle by claiming that only the first 2 bottles were free at the time of checking out. We threatened to launch complain and they finally gave in.

This is a wonderful hotel. The architecture and the style of the hotel is just wonderful. Friendly staff, excellent location right in the middle of the city, the port, the old city and shopping is in walking distance. Absolutely enjoyable place!
