Spent 2 nights at the Standard Hotel on a flying visit to Genoa. Was a bit nervous on arrival as the exterior of the building is quite run down. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean, the staff is very helpful and the location is excellent. It is more a 3 stars than a 4 stars however, so you should try to get a low fare. I had one, so it was definetely worth what I paid for.
