Had a lovely stay in this hotel prior to boarding a P&O cruise. There were three of us and we were given a large room overlooking the Aquarium. The staff were great and the food excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a short stay.

We stayed there for one night. The bed was comfortable, however the grout in between the tiles in the bath had mildew. We asked to change a room, but they said that no rooms were available. Breakfast was OK. The receptionist recommended an excellent restaurant across the street called Soho. He suggested not to walk around at night.

My family and I recently stayed at the NH Marina in Genoa. Upon arrival we were told our room was ready for us. We went up to the room and it wasn't ready. I talked to the manager who apologized and offered us complimentary drinks, and an assortment of appetizers (salami, prosciutto, capicola, toasted bread with fig jam, peanuts, potato... More

Stayed 2 nights with our 7 year old and 18 year old. On her 18th birthday at the hotel the staff sent a cake to the room and a card, and made a fuss of her. Very nice and attentive and made her stay even more memorable. It's a classic hotel for conferences and business, but in August is obviously... More

One of the nicest hotels that I've stayed in recently, but sadly it is in an area that is full of illegal immigrants trying to sell you things and bother you just outside the front door. Very scary at night.

The Marina is a beautiful 4 star hotel, with great rooms and accomplished common areas - the restaurant is beautiful. But what is striking is its location. Built on a pier in the old harbour, you are surrounded by moored sailing boats (hence the name), yet a stone throw from the old city of Genova - the incredibly atmospheric, cosmopolitan... More

It is ideally located in the old port area, minutes walk from the old town. our room had a beautiful view on the marina. it had a very comfortable bed, plenty of pillows. it was spacious, modern clean and quiet, staff were courteous, the breakfast buffet is pretty... This year we chose a city summer holiday with focus on spending time together and enjoying good food and wine. We like Italy and had never been to Genoa in Italy. Criteria for our hotel should be a good location and well functioning facilities (including good breakfast), With the hotel based directly on a pier with boats directly outside your... More

Stayed there one night with children to visit the aquarium that is just in front. You have the impression not to be in a big city (and not very nice city) and on the water. The rooms are clean, ok in size for Italy and on the water. The restaurant is good and the breakfast very big and excellent. In... More

Stayed here for a couple of days after a cruise, about 800 meters from the cruise terminal. Good clean, modern hotel in very good location near the many attractions and over the road from the old town. Comfortable bedrooms with lovely bathroom. Most rooms seem to have a view of the harbour. Breakfast very good and varied. Staff very friendly... More
