Stayed here on a weekend visit to Cinque Terre! Very clean and very friendly. Located right next to the Varnazza train station and the hiking trail that connects Vernazza with Corniglia. Great restaurants close by. Train was a bit noisy but nothing we couldn't handle. Would definitely stay here again.

Francesca was delightful and very accommodating. I had taken 4 trains to get there and we had a break in the rain, so as soon as I checked in I took off for the town. The room was on the second floor over looking a garden. Once I got back to the room I noticed a strong smell of mildew.... More

Other reviewers have reminded us that this is a PENSIONE not a 3-Star hotel. True to that I'll refrain from complaining about the material pleasures I missed. Instead I'll say that the host (Francesca) is wonderfully helpful and energetic. She helped us a lot with information and suggestions. Our room (#7) is on the second story facing the street below.... Didn't how what to expect, but I didn't expect much. This place is not the Ritz, but I have been pleasantly surprised. The lady in the reception area is very nice and helpful but short on English. The room is a very comfortable size with air conditioning and a toilet and shower. The shower is crowded for one person, but... More

Which was good for us with a lot of luggage and a sprained ankle. And ear muffles. Vernazza is a small and lovely village so everything is nearby. The room was clean, but small with an even smaller bathroom. We accidentally left a few things behind, sun glasses, credit cards and a shirt, which were picked up three days later... More

Conveniently located to the bus stop and train station. Our room faced the back so we had no issues with noise that other people complained about (room 3). That being said the room was small and the bathroom even smaller. The problem with the bathroom was that given its size the shower curtain invariably either pushed out from the wall... More

The accommodation was clean but very small and close to trains which made it noisy . The hosts were not very good on communications on walks and other essential tourist information. The breakfast was ok

We stayed for three nights here, and the location is really great. As vernazza is really a tourist attraction and busy, this accommodation is just on the other side of the train station, where hardly anyone is! But the rooms are a bit noisy, as you hear the train the whole night, and the churchbells (which is very near) start... More

Stayed here two nights. Pensione sorisso is a very nice place to stay in Vernazza. As almost any place in town,it's a bit close to the train station and therefore a bit noisy, even at night. However, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, and the bathrooms modern looking and cute. Very much recommend this place.

This boutique hotel is located a short walk from the train station, close to the Main Street in town, and the entrance to the trail to Corneglia. We enjoyed our stay here very much. It is very much a pensione, but very well appointed. Our room overlooked the hills, and the church bells tolling the hours added to the charm.... More
