Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Reasonably priced, spotlessly clean. Balcony that has amongst the best views in all directions across Riomagiorre and the Adriatic. The mood and colours of the town, reflect the ever changing light and sky! The owner prides herself on making her guest's stay as comfortable and as rich an experience as possible. She gave us excellent directions to... More

We stayed in the 2 bedroom balcony suite with amazing views of the city and water. The place was very difficult to find with their directions. Ask a local shop. It is well worth the trek up the steep hill. You must stay in a room with a balcony. I think there are 3. My favorite stay of our Europe... More

My husband and I stayed in the James Cook Suite for three nights in September 2012 and did not want to leave due to the beauty of the Cinque Terrre and our comfortable room. The view from our balcony was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable.

I booked at very short notice and were delighted that we were offered a large room with a view and balcony. As I assumed that this was a very good deal, I made a reservation for all our three nights in cinque terre. When we arrived, I was disappointed to find that the room reserved for us was not in... My husband and I stayed here during our European honeymoon. Upon arriving at the train station, we walked up the steep paths to the houses/town. We found this hotel easily, pressed the call button outside the door and the manager came ti greet us within minutes (She was at her other property). She showed us to our room and gave... More

I must say that this was a great find, not too pricey great location and great host! I would be back in a heart beat and for sure recommend it to friends and family. We stayed in the room that had no balcony but still a great view!

We have just returned from a great trip during which we stayed for 5 nights in this apartment. MarieStella (our host) was terrific, giving us good information and advice and making dinner reservations for us. The suite was clean and roomy enough and we loved the windows looking out over the village - enjoyed eating on the terrace too with... More

I had the great fortune to stay in the most amazing, picturesque place I've stayed in a long time. This is not a hotel but an apartment block. The Marco Polo room is on the top floor and has a kitchenette too and the views are nothing short of breathtaking! - it is like living inside a postcard and I... More

We stayed for 2 nights. The place is a set of apartments to-let. Not a hotel. They didn't change towels or clean and our room was facing a garden. The owner and her son were quite helpful. In retrospect i probably would have stayed in monterosso somewhere more like a hotel.

Our group enjoyed five rooms here for two nights. As others have mentioned getting your luggage to your room from the train station can be strenuous but this location is the easiest in Riomaggiore because it is all an uphill walk with no stairs. The only stairs are within the building when you arrive. The hosts are delightful and very... More
