Lorenza took such good care of us: from picking us up at the train station, giving us an orientation to Riomaggiore and the town's landmarks, to the breakfast croissants / focaccia and just-picked lemons and in-room coffee machine. Lorenza is such a warm and detailed hostess, it was like we were visiting a long-lost Italian aunt who happens to run... More

CasaLorenza is the perfect place to stay if you are in the Cinque Terre region. As all of the other reviewers have attested, Lorenza and her husband are the perfect hosts and always go above and beyond what is expected to ensure their guests have a memorable stay. Riomaggiore is a quaint little village and we quickly took in all... More

After researching the many accommodation options in the five villages of Cinque Terre, my wife and I chose to stay at Casa Lorenza in Riomaggiore. It was a short stay of three nights, but we had an amazing experience! After confirming the reservation with Lorenza via email, she quickly responded to any questions that we had and was very helpful.... More

My husband and I stayed at CasaLorenza for 2 nights in Sept and it was simply amazing. There was a train strike on the day we departed Rome for Riomaggiore which we found out on arrival at the Rome train station. I emailed Lorenza and advised her of what was happening and we could get 3/4 of the way there... More

We arrived in the pouring rain and after emailing Lorenza the night before our arrival we thrilled to see her arrive at the train station in her car literally as we stepped off the train. She provided us with so much information about the trails (closed this time of year) but gave us alternative options for what was available. Provided... More

Lorenza runs a beautiful B&B that is well worth the 100+ steps to get to. The rooms are relatively new and and still feel that way. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Because the rooms are high above the town, it is quiet in the evenings and provide spectacular views out to sea and over the town. Other... More

My wife and I stayed 3 days with Lorenza Oct 21-23rd and it was the most amazing stay on our whole trip 21 days. We arrived without the luggage Air France had lost, but Lorenza still met us at the train station and showed us her village. She then showed us the "easy walk" up to her apartment. We had booked... I stayed here for two nights on a solo trip to Italy in October. Lorenza was the perfect host; picked me up when I arrived in Riomaggiore (easily found a bar she mentioned and her friend called her). My basic Italian was enough to communicate with her and I think she appreciated the effort. I stayed in the Daphne room,... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in October 2014. We stayed in the Venere room which was very big, nicely decorated, and had a good sized bathroom. The best part of the room was the balcony with the amazing view. The view was so great that we brought pizza back the first night and had our dinner... More

My wife and I recently spent 5 nights in the Nettuno apartment and had a wonderful stay. The very gracious Lorenza met us at the train station which was a real treat, and drove us and our bags to the B&B. She gave us an intro to the town on the way there, got us oriented with a map, and... More
