We are from NYC and stayed 5 days in the lovely Venere Room. First, I'd like to say that the rooms and home are more beautiful in person than on the website. Everything is beautifully renovated---modern, functioning, immaculately clean and tastefully done. There is air conditioning, free WiFi (good connection) and a small mini fridge (to store your beverages and... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights in the Venere room. As other reviewers have accurately noted, the view is spectacular (the full moonlight over the water streaming through our open doors at night was breathtaking) and the room is charming and very clean. What makes this place special, however, is the owner, Lorenza. She is a treasure. She... More

A BIG Thankyou to our host of the B&B Lorenza. She made us feel so welcome. The Accomodation was awesome. Attention to detail in all aspects of this B&B. The bed was comfy with a great bathroom and awesome shower pressure. The View from the balcony was Absolutely stunning! It was the little things that made this place special, the... More

The best experience of our entire trip! Lorenza picked us up at the train station in her car and drove us up to the room. On the 10 min drive she gave us a 5 star concierge service worth of information on absolutely everything we need to know about Riomaggiore and all of Cinque Terre. She was simply the nicest... More

Casa Lorenza not only comes with a heavenly view of the sunset and moonrise over Riomaggiore town and harbor, but best of all comes with Lorenza, who has to be the patron saint of Cinque Terre hostesses. She met us with a bottle of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary . . . magically placed notes of good morning and warm... More

What a great hostess. She arranged a parking spot for our rental car and helped carry our baggage all the way up the stairs to the room. We had the venere room which has an amazing patio with a stunning view of the Mediterranean. We spent most sunsets sitting drinking wine and enjoying the view. Breakfast was not included but... More

All the positive reviews on this site are to be believed. A surprise to find such a beautiful, modern room (Venere) in an otherwise very rustic setting, and with a breathtaking view to boot. With all that, the highlight is the hostess, Lorenza, one of the most charming, friendly and helpful people we have met in our travels. We can't... More

Lorenza met us at the train station and quickly showed us to our room. We were amazed by the fabulous view and cleanliness. She was extremely helpful with where to walk/visit etc. On our last day, we were expecting just to walk to the local train station after check-out to catch our train to La Spezia, as we then had... We find it hard to add anything to what the previous reviewers have said, but also impossible not to. The hostess is without doubt one of the loveliest, kindest, most generous and helpful people we have ever met, on holiday or otherwise. Please do follow her recommendations of walks, restaurants, etc., which are all excellent.

We stayed at Casa Lorenza on the advice of a friend. Lorenza is a great host. She met us at the train, drove us up to her apartments and her husband helped us with our bags, a cold welcoming beer capped off the welcome. The apartment is 2 minutes to town, bus, train, beach and restaurants of Riomaggorie, We had... More
