The location you see on Trip Advisor is for the short stay apartment rental office and not where you will be staying. The pictures of the accommodation will most likely be wrong too because they rent out multiple different apartments over Riomaggiore. If you're set on staying in one of the Cinque Terre towns at a small price and can... More

After reading some of the reviews I was slightly concerned about staying at this hostel. I was pleasantly surprised! It was easy to find and not too much of a trek up the hill. Our room had a kitchen which was a bonus. The bathrooms were clean. Air-conditioning was great! Only downside is there is no WiFi except for at... More

I stayed here with my wife in July 2014. It was one of the highlights on my travels across Europe. I'd like to caveat this though - I think our experience was very different from the experiences I skimmed through in the other reviews. Many of the rooming options offered are dorm style it seems. However, when my wife and... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on a solo trip. Basic, clean hostel-type space for much less than a regular hotel room in the area. Location worked out well for me, close to ocean and restaurants, a quick walk to the train. Perfect for the solo traveler that doesn't spend much time in the room. Don't book unless you'll be there... More

Long story short, we were a group of 5 looking for shelter for the night. He promised us a 5 bedder room with "nice views" and then proceeded to bring us to a dark alley and climbed some really steep steps to a top floor apartment. He showed us a queen bed and one single bed. He pointed to below... More

Affittacamere patrizia was a lovely stay in Riomaggiore. Good location at the first town of the cinque terre, definitely one of the prettier and less touristy villages. Also our 10dorm was located closer to the bottom of the hill which good! Unfortunately there was some construction going on during our stay which lead to some noise and water shortages during... We were placed in a small apartment type building near the water which would have been cool if we had windows...My friend and I shared a room with two other people but then in the middle of the night more SIX people came strolling in because apparently our room lead to theirs. We were not warned about this and it... More

Booked online for me and my two friends. We took the train in an hikes up the hill as all of cinque terre is hills. Knew that the place we got off of expedia said shared bathroom but was the only thing available. Once we arrived they told us that we could upgrade for 5 euros (ended up being just... More

Firstly people should should know that Affittacamere Patrizia is not a hostel, but an office that manages a series of apartments around Riomaggiore. I stayed in an 8 bed "dorm" which was actually an apartment with 8 beds. The location was perfect, right on the harbor, with a balcony that we could sit and eat and enjoy the views. The... More

The office of this hotel/hostel is not where your room will be and is a huge hike from the bottom. If possible it is probably best to leave your bags at the bottom with a member of the group because your room will probably be at the bottom anyway. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were small but... More
