Stayed here for 2 nights on a solo trip. Basic, clean hostel-type space for much less than a regular hotel room in the area. Location worked out well for me, close to ocean and restaurants, a quick walk to the train. Perfect for the solo traveler that doesn't spend much time in the room. Don't book unless you'll be there... More

Long story short, we were a group of 5 looking for shelter for the night. He promised us a 5 bedder room with "nice views" and then proceeded to bring us to a dark alley and climbed some really steep steps to a top floor apartment. He showed us a queen bed and one single bed. He pointed to below... More

Affittacamere patrizia was a lovely stay in Riomaggiore. Good location at the first town of the cinque terre, definitely one of the prettier and less touristy villages. Also our 10dorm was located closer to the bottom of the hill which good! Unfortunately there was some construction going on during our stay which lead to some noise and water shortages during... We were placed in a small apartment type building near the water which would have been cool if we had windows...My friend and I shared a room with two other people but then in the middle of the night more SIX people came strolling in because apparently our room lead to theirs. We were not warned about this and it... More

Booked online for me and my two friends. We took the train in an hikes up the hill as all of cinque terre is hills. Knew that the place we got off of expedia said shared bathroom but was the only thing available. Once we arrived they told us that we could upgrade for 5 euros (ended up being just... More

Firstly people should should know that Affittacamere Patrizia is not a hostel, but an office that manages a series of apartments around Riomaggiore. I stayed in an 8 bed "dorm" which was actually an apartment with 8 beds. The location was perfect, right on the harbor, with a balcony that we could sit and eat and enjoy the views. The... More

The office of this hotel/hostel is not where your room will be and is a huge hike from the bottom. If possible it is probably best to leave your bags at the bottom with a member of the group because your room will probably be at the bottom anyway. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were small but... More

Myself and my girlfriend are backpacking and as a priority are booking places that are are short walk for us as we are not overly stong and have quite heavy bags. Seeing the address of this hotel and thinking it was accurate was one of the worst mistake we made all trip. Upon arriving at the reception and having to... More

After reading some of the poor reviews, we were worried upon arrival to the office. We were led to an apartment with sea views, in a prime location and could not believe our luck! We were expecting a dank hostel, but had a balcony and spacious room for 5 girls with a kitchen and very clean bathroom. I highly recommend... More
