I would highly recommend a stay here when visiting Cinque Terra. As others have mentioned, the views from our room and the breakfast terrace were absolutely breathtaking. The room was clean with a huge bathroom and lots of space for luggage. Breakfast was more than adequate; the usual continental fare with an offer of scrambled eggs as well. Ultimately, the... More

Insane views from room balcony and breakfast terrace, excellent location! I spent three nights here with my wife, and we didn't want to leave at all, perfect place surrounded by gardens. First we decided to climb up to Volastra from Manarola even there is a shuttle available, that was a hard trip under the sun and took about one hour,... More

Imagine going out on the terrace of your room and you see all the villages of cinque terre. Just a 10 minute shirt bus ride, or 25 minutes on foot (that comes with a bit sweat) from Manarola and you are there. The hotel is on the very edge of the cliff and when you take the boat between the... More

After a VERY long journey from Nice we eventually arrived in Manarola. After some confusion(falling asleep on the train) we unfortunately missed the shuttle bus to this hotel. We called the hotel and Eugenio kindly came all the way to pick us up. This was a very welcome gesture after the journey we had just had. We arrived at the... More

The stunning view and antiquity of it all holds a special place in my heart. Our hosts at the hotel made us feel so welcome with their warmth and interest in our comfort. We enjoyed sunset drinks and olives in the evening out on the patio each night that were breath taking. Anything we asked for Eugenio and Francesca were... More

We were on a two week Trip through Italy and Barcelona. Rome has always my favorite because of the history and architecture, but I believe that the eternal city just got dethroned by Cinque Terra. The hotel is perched on a hillside with an incredible view of EVERTHING! Francesca and Eugenio made our experience extra special by being the perfect... More

From the first moment I saw the photos of Riomaggiore in books and websites, I knew Cinque Terre had to be on my bucket list for travel. Luna di Marzo was one of the top hotels to stay at every time we typed in "Riomaggiore". Booking was easy and a few days before our trip, I received an email from... More

We were looking for a centrally located hotel to the 5 Cinque Terre villages and Luna di marzo, perched high on the hillside between Manarola and Coniglia certainly fits the bill. When you open the bedroom shutters in the morning and see out across the vineyards to Mediterranean, it's a spectacular sight. Eugenio and Francesco are wonderful hosts and put... More

Book a room with balcony. Room was very clean, but very spars. Could you some photos or art on walls. Seating on balcony but wall is too tall to ehoy the view while sitting and enjoying a glass of wine. Howeve, you can go to the common patio and enjoy the spectacular views. Great, helpful and courteous staff

Luna di marzo is a great hotel on top of monarola. Very simple to get to as well. Just hop off the train, short walk to the post office, and pick up the shuttle and it will take you all the way up to the little village of Volastra. From there, follow the signs to the hotel. The views from... More
