The hotel is located in Volastra near Riomaggiore, it is not at sea level that is why you get such wonderful views, it has its own parking area, rooms are very spacious, and clean, service is excellent, this is one of the very few places where we got made to order eggs. You do have to find a way to... More

2 night stay by four UK travellers. This was our first stay at Luna di Marzo. From the moment we arrived the welcome, service, breakfast and invaluable travel information was second to none. The service provided by the shuttle bus is excellent as was the train travelling from village to village. Both rooms were spotlessly clean with the most amazing... More

Visiting this quiet hotel in Oct 2014. In previous times I have stayed in town, this is more of a journey from town but not difficult. Once you walk through the tunnel from train into Manrola, go up the hill until you see POST on left side of street. The van waits just a little farther up the hill so... More

This is a beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views of the Ligurian sea, Manarola to your left and Corniglia to your right. The hotel grounds are just lovely, the rooms very large by Italy standards, and the breakfast impressive (made to order eggs!). But please, don't make the same mistake that we did. While the mailing address is Riomaggiore, taking... More

What an amazing view! We got a room on the first floor with a spectacular view. At first, we thought it was going to be a bit inconvenient being far away from the small towns but then we realized it was a lot better as you can feel the Italian small town atmosphere and there is a shuttle that runs... First, this is listed in Riomaggiore, the 5th town on the coast......So, we were surprised when we got off the train in Riomaggiore to learn we had to travel back to the next town BUT we also had to take a bus to the next town up. The trip is a steep vertical climb, so not easy by a long... More

We had a Terrace Room which was roomy, clean, quiet and comfortable. The view is fabulous from any window. The terrace wall (not a railing) obstructs the view if you are seated but the common terrace on the first floor has great views and seating. Our hosts were very helpful with parking our car and with providing wine to take... More

The entire region is heavenly, but this hotel, located in the small vilage of Volastra is simply sublime. The view is the best in Italy, no, THE WORLD !!! Away from the crowds with spectacular views you will feel as if have come to a place where time has stopped. Perfect serenity. Its clean and the hosts are kind and... More

We stayed 3 nights here and loved it. At first, it's a little disappointing to be farther away from the coast (up the hill) but we realized this is actually an advantage: there are no crowds (unlike the coastal towns), the views are spectacular (again, unlike the coastal towns). The owners were exceptionally thoughtful-giving good directions and breakfast was exceptional.... More

Best thing first: the views! The hotel's location must be among the most privileged of all Cinque Terre! Also a great starting to point for trekking, wine tasting or to get to the best restaurant of the area (Cappun Magru, please refer to my review on Tripadvisor) Unfortunately, however, the hotel owners don't do more to transfer the hotel into...
