We stayed in this Hostel for a night whilst in Riomaggiore and it was just perfect. The prices in this area are insane, and this was the cheapest we could find, but also to our surprise it was lovely! The staff is very friendly and only low point is there is no breakfast, but the town is so lovely you... More

When they giver you check in hours they stick to them. Come outisde of thise hours and i susspect you will be waiting. We were tired upon arrival and accidentally walked past the shop, when I was mentioning this in conversation the young lady jumped immediately to defensive mode and asking why I'd didn't read the instructions. I had to... More

We went to these rooms with a group of people. The single room has a nice double bed but it's a bit small. The inconvenience for this room is that the bedroom and bathroom (including the shower) are not connected, they're on the same floor, though. The other two rooms are more spacious and they come with their toilets and... More

We spent 3 nights there The photo are misleading is not a nice place to stay. As a lot of places in Riomaggiore. Also it is NOT a hotel but a room in an apartment, there are a lot inconvenience, no service since it is not a hotel, you need to pay cash, you need to add 23eur (cash) for... More

We were very pleased with our stay; the location was good, and the rooms were modern and spacious and they we had fridge in the room, so you can buy breakfast supplies from the store, or pick up a panini and cappuccino and have a breakfast outside. The staff was helpful as well. We would stay there again!

I am not a picky person, and I have stayed in some pretty bad places, but at least they were cheap. This place was the worst, and expensive to boot. Where to begin? As another guest mentioned, you have to voice all complaints within 15 minutes of entering the premises. I wish I had known that ahead of time, although... More

We had read reviews of La Casa di Venere, and so were not expecting too much, and were aware of having to visit the office in the main street of Riomaggiore to book in, and not go direct to the accommodation. All in all the 2 night stay went smoothly. The office is just a short walk from the wharf... More

Now we are not choosy travellers. We travelled on a budget and as such were realistic with what our money would buy. However, this place definitely was not worth the money we paid. Basically, we stayed in what could be best described as someone's attic that was quickly furnished in order to make a quick buck out of the thriving... More

The apartment is in a medieval building, so plenty of stairs. We were situated at the back of the building in a cavern-like apartment with only one small window. Furniture was modern, IKEA style. It cost more than our previous Albergo, which had plenty of space, a balcony, breakfast and helpful staff. It also cost more than our 4 star... More

Back in April I was looking for where to stay in Riomaggiore. I inquired with a number of places including Casa di Venere. I must have needed to put a credit card number on their inquiry form, because EVEN THOUGH I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM and wound up reserving and staying at Michielini Rooms (very nice) THEY CHARGED MY...
