The hotel is located around 4 km away from Riomaggiore main street with a very limited bus service. You MUST find yourself a private taxi and have his number to be able to leave the hotel and get back. We were located in the very last rooms complex, which is a hilarious walk full of stairs, specially with the luggage.... More

Sorry, but in your house do you change sheets every day ? I don't think so. Anyway there are a lot of hotels in Cinqueterre, much more expensive than us, that change them. But in Cinqueterre you cannot avoid stairs...wherever you go ! And transport of luggage is on payment in Riomaggiore. Here is free. A little bit of organization,... More

Highly recommend for the views and very good restaurant. Would definitely recommend and return. Need to be in shape, the rooms are down 154 steps. In the morning luggages are taken up by mono rail and staff easily arranges. Rooms are very adequate and this hotel is a great place to visit Cinque Terre. Private parking a must in area.... More

+ amazing view + beautiful gardens with flowers and herbs + wifi in the rooms - more than 250 steps to reach your room, no one helps you with the luggage, only on your departure day you can use the luggage lift. not suitable for elder people, dissabled or families with kids - bad connection to the cinque terre villages.... Dear madame, in our website is clearly written that there are stairs to reach to rooms. Why did you reserve anyway ? Probably because we are less expensive than all other places here in Cinqueterre. And why can we do that ? Because we do not change towels and sheets every day, like in your house. So we can save... More

Given the view and the cool breeze, I wish I could say better things about this place. First - there's no A/C. The breeze was tough to get into the little apartment we had without opening the front door and eliminating all privacy. Wifi was spotty. We also ran into an ill-tempered owner, but her staff were quite pleasant. These... More

Dear madame, have you heard that july 2015 is going to be the hottest july in the last 200 years ??? So, you are right when you say that the A/C was not working well those days. The machines were suffering as you did, and all people in the world did. Thanks for appreciating our gardens and our view. About... More

After arriving here we were treated with terrible manners/customer service by the "owner" and instantly left a bad taste in our mouths, if she is the owner God help this hotel. She was so unhelpful and provided no info on the area just rushed us off to our "cleaned" room. The walk to the room was 200 steps down awkward... More

Dear Lady, we saw the review you made to the other hotel in Venice, poor boys. As we had the honour to meet you, we think that the problem it's you. You were so sad, so unhappy since your arrival. Nothing was as you wanted. Probably our location was not your best choise. You were wandering in the vineyards with... More

Il Borgo di Campi was my favorite place to spend a few nights in Italy. For an incredibly reasonable price, my self-sufficient apartment was adorable and well-maintained, and the breakfasts were delicious! I also had amazing shrimp for dinner one night - WOW! I would go back tomorrow if I could!

Beautifully located, with rooms reminiscent of the kind of Greek apartments I stayed in as a cash-strapped youth (but with prices to match the best hotels in the area) this was a strange trip. I found the views to be terrific, the room was OK, and the staff were appalling. We were treated rudely from arrival to the day before... More

We enjoyed the stay very much. Magnificent view on the sea from the terrace, nice garden and a clean and neat apartment. Small but all you need is there. Nice restaurant and excellent capuccino at the bar next door. From the hotel you can either take a walk (1½ hour) to Riomaggiore or take the shuttle bus (10 min). Good... More

It doesn't get any better than this. Il Borgo di Campi is a great place to stay in Cinque Terre. The views are gorgeous, the staff is friendly and helpful, you get free parking and the rooms have kitchenettes. The rooms have a kitchen including 2 burners and dishes to use. Yes, there are many stairs to walk up and... More

Il Borgo Di Campi offers a beautiful view but the customer service is severely lacking. Upon arrival, the front desk lady checked us in while talking on the phone with her husband. She merely pointed down the hill to indicate our room. Because she was busy talking to her husband, she forgot to hand back our Passports and provide us... More

Dear Lady, it is useless to write the second time, what your roommate has already written three days ago. We understood that you did not like our resort. Please, we suggest you once again to read better the informations before booking, in order to avoid dissatisfaction, which inevitably leads to a bad review. Best regards More
